🎞 NEW VIDEO: 📊 2025 budget | $4500 per month in singapore 🇸🇬

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/JxBceZe1-jQ

Hi everyone, it’s me again! Sharing my monthly budget for 2025, as is my yearly tradition~

It’s a bit longer this time becaue I rambled for almost 10 minutes at the end. Making this video was a real test of my new years resolution to be anti-perfectionist.

Anyway hope you enjoy! 💕

🎞 NEW VIDEO: 🥅 2025 goals | 📹 channel update, 💁🏽‍♀️ why i’m showing my face

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/Vngoi6FPrkU

Hi everyone, it’s me! I’m back with my goals for the new year. Usually I only share my financial goals, but this time I’m sharing my personal goals too. Also, I’m showing my face this time. For the new year, I’m trying out this new style of filming! And yes, before you say it, I know it’s going to be awkward and weird for a few videos until I get used to it (if I ever get used to it), but if I never try, I’ll never learn. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

Anyway, I hope y’all enjoy the video! Thank you for sticking around.

🎞 NEW VIDEO: 📈 my noob guide to investing | what i learnt after investing for 5 years

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/XfYwFBgLrAQ

Happy New Year everyone!

This was supposed to be the last video of the year but I couldn’t finish it in time 🥲 Nevertheless, hope this will be another useful one! Investing’s a tough topic for me to talk about because I feel like my knowledge is very basic haha but if basic is what you need, I hope this helps. Let me know what y’all think!

EDIT: Had to reupload because there was a video glitch in the previous one!

🎞 NEW VIDEO: 🛡️ my insurance portfolio + thoughts about the confusing world of insurance and my place in it

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/XiyoBM4djgE

My first video tackling the subject of insurance! Insurance can be a contentious topic (for many reasons), but I wanted to focus on demystifying it first and sharing my personal experience on this journey. I hope you find this helpful!

🎞 NEW VIDEO: 💡 personal finance 101 (pov: you ask me about personal finance and i have only 30 mins to explain)

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/li3bANIhwkw

Hello everyone, here’s a new video!

It’s a ‘personal finance 101’ type of video that I was a bit wary of making at first because I don’t want to tell people what to do. But I wanted to make something that I could send my friends if they ever asked me for help, and also a resource that they can refer to over and over again.

Send this video to someone who you think needs a guide like this 👀 (but also don’t, if you think they’ll react badly ahah).

Good luck everyone!

🎞 NEW VIDEO: My Money Mindsets 🧠 (how my thoughts on money have changed over the years)

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/Ug_xngZdXyQ

Hello my Tele subscribers, it’s a new video day! This one is a bit of a chatty rambling one, but I thought it would be good for me to reflect on how my perspectives around money have evolved over the years. Part of growing up is changing your mind about some things you used to believe were true… Anyway, hope y’all have a great Sunday!

Hi everyone!

I'll be speaking at an event organised by The Financial Coconut next Saturday! (If you remember, I was on their podcast twice before.)

The panel is broadly going to be about money and retirement — which sounds intimidating, I know, but I hope we can break down the concept into something more relatable and less abstract.

There are other panels and events covering topics like money narratives and couple finances too.

If any of these topics interest you and you wanna come, I have 10 free tickets to give away! Please send me an email ([email protected]) and let me know which sessions you'd like to go for (both also can). I'll let the organisers know so that they can put you on the list.

🗓️ Saturday, 23 March 2024
11am to 4pm
📍 OCBC Wisma Atria, #04-01, Singapore
💲 $8 for both AM & PM session, $4 separately (I'm in the AM session!)

You can find more details and get the tickets here:

🎞 NEW VIDEO: 🛍️ My Online Shopping Ban 🚫 | getting back my time and energy

🌐 Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/dB4-lJlV99k

Hello my Tele subscribers! In this video I talk about a new personal experiment that I’m trying out for 2024 — I’m quitting online shopping!! Well, not completely, but I am taking measures to cut most of it out of my life. It’s been a long time coming, and I think it’s a necessary project to regain my time and be more intentional with my decisions. More thoughts in the video!

If you’re interested in doing a similar project, I also made a blogpost summarising the main rules and goals. You can check it out here.

Happy Friday everyone!

📹 Here’s another video featuring meee haha. This time it’s a game show format (we call it 👑 Budget Royale), where we all try to give our best tips to save on household expenses, investing, and recreation, and then vote on who gave the best suggestion after each round. The four of us had pretty unique perspectives based on our current stage of life. It was fun filming this episode, and I learnt a lot from the others too!

Hope you like it! 🧡

🎙️ Just wanted to share this short 30-min interview that I did on Josh Tan’s (from TheAstuteParent) channel! It’s like a get-to-know-me, if you’re interested in that kinda thing. (Pls excuse my big face, I should’ve sat further away from my laptop.) Thanks Josh for having me on your channel! 🙏

Hi everyone, exciting news! sav.finance is organising another Money Spring Cleaning workshop for 2024, covering essential personal finance topics like budgeting, insurance and investing.

They organised a similar workshop last year and some of you may have attended that one. If you missed it, they’re holding another one this year — but this time with me in it! 🤪 I’ll be sharing a bit of my own budgeting framework and suggestions in the first session (15 Jan) of the workshop. There’s also going to be a live Q&A at the end, so you can ask me any questions then! 💭

Even if you’ve got the basics of budgeting down, the other sessions on insurance and investing would be really helpful if you’re still figuring things out.

🌱 There’s a bundle discount if you buy 2 tickets ($11.40 per person, instead of $20) through my link here: https://www.sav.finance/lp/new-year?utm_medium=lisa

So you can invite a friend (or drag them along with you) and kickstart your financial journey together 👍

Hello everyone,

Guess what — I’ve been invited as a speaker for the Seedly Personal Finance Festival 2024 this year. Crazy, I know. Who would’ve known I’d be someone who would be invited to a festival — let alone one about personal finance??

Regardless, I’m so honoured and pleased to be invited. Intimidated and worried too, but I have 3 months to prepare so fingers crossed it’ll go well. 🤞If not, don’t worry there’ll be other speakers there that you can watch lol.

Here are more details about the festival:

🗓️ When: 6 April 2024, Saturday
📍 Where: Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Hall F

🎟️ With each festival ticket, you can get:
🔸 Access to ALL stages and event booths
🔸 A Goodie bag worth S$68
🔸 A chance to participate in lucky draws and giveaways worth over S$17,300 in total.

You can use the promo code 20OFFLISA for 20% off the ticket price, which you can get here: https://bit.ly/PFF2024Speakers

And if you see me at the festival, please don’t be shy and say hi! 🧡

Good morning everyone! 🌞

🎙️ Here’s something to listen to for your evening commute: I’m featured on a podcast by The Financial Coconut! This is the second time I’ve been on the podcast (you can find the first episode on their channel too).

This episode was recorded on 1 December 2023, and it was when I had just started my reflection on how the past year had gone and thinking about what I wanted 2024 to look like. The results of this thought exercise are the latest 2 videos I published on my channel. But if you’re interested in a non-scripted (yikes) version of me, then you might like this too! 🧡

Reggie was such a joy to talk to and I genuinely had a great time recording this episode for their channel. Do support the The Financial Coconut by checking out this episode! You can watch it on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/o7e4bSBVFB4?si=vMiVK-7VKkwJXkG1
