Seems like 2025 will really be AIβs year.
The market has clearly shown it really likes AI related coins. But which one? There are simply too many to choose from at this point.
My personally guideline is to stick to things I know and understand.
Especially on the tokenomics front. A lot of these projects have under the table deals larping as a community project. Most are not.
So personally gonna just pick up to 3 AI coins I really like and really hold them through.
There will be more rounds of pump and dumps, so itβs really up to your on conviction and the team behind.
Most project docs are snake oil vaporware nonsense, stick to the ones that have been shipping non-stop, matches your risk tolerance and donβt be unrealistic on the upside.

Just went ahead to clean up my portfolio:
Most hype eco coins bled against HYPE, as HYPE itself faces some weakness in the short run
Strong coins ended up being AI related. Specifically FARM and VAPOR
Clear dispersion. But I consolidated everything fully back to HYPE. Overall just up abit thanks to VAPORβs pump.
Will set back and think more in the next few days on how to play this. Have absolutely zero read on the market rn
But also have the benefit of fresh eyes and mental clarity. Will take awhile for me to be in tune w the markets again

After last week's washout, spot continues to chop sideways as approach the festive holidays. While this may seem like a quiet week for markets, all eyes are on the massive expiry this Friday, where almost $20B notional across BTC and ETH options will expire. This represents almost half the total OI on Deribit.
Will we see the typical quarter-end vol selloff post expiry? We believe it's quite possible especially if spot continues to range here and as option sellers continue to roll their shorts out. Unlike most option sellers who have to wait for collateral to be released post-expiry, Call buyers would have likely already rolled most of their positions. However, if BTC manages to break 100k, vols are likely to hold firm.
Meanwhile as BTC continues to struggle below 100k, we could also see alts start to play catch up again. A similar trend was observed a month ago where BTC was trading around these levels and ETHBTC bounced off 0.032 support. With BTC dominance still at 58%, we are closely watching for a significant drop below this level to confirm a rotation into alts.

Iβm actually glad no actual compromise happened to the bridge yet or validator private keys getting phished.
Other times you have things like Ronin Bridge hack stealing billions or catastrophic events like UST depegging to zero. None has happened on Hyperliquid, and the same sentiments already happened.
Pretty sure HL team is already looking into their opsec and security regarding this. So while nothing has happened yet, market hates uncertainty, hence the price action.
To me this is an insane opportunity to be loading up while others are fearful. Iβve been finding whatever spare liquidity to buy up $HYPE in the meantime

These are known risk vectors.
The writings on the wall is that $HYPE did an extremely perfect execution on their TGE, have a functioning and high performance perp DEX that rivals the UIUX of Binance and other CEXes
Yet to launch Hyper EVM, which likely introduces more forms of collaterals like BTC/ETH (Coin-M) and bring in more big players.
Has yet to be listed on spot market of major CEXes
And tons of DeFi primitives that will unlock more use cases for $HYPE beyond Uponly tech
Everyone is so focused on the short term and missing the forest for the trees.
Simply have the patience, and let the thesis play out for itself.
There is no perfect investments, there are always risks involved. But find something that is asymmetric in terms of risk/reward, and bet heavily and wait patiently.
Size, timing, and patience are the keys to success. I am just borrowing these from the greats like Howard Marks, Warren Buffett etc.

If we truly think alt season is coming I donβt think it really matters if you bought anything 20% higher or at current ATH or down 20%
If itβs truly coming everything and anything will be pumped
We are seeing dispersion across the board due to fragmented liquidity across different narratives
Rn main liquidity concentration is in Solana, Base and Hyperliquid from what Iβm seeing, so positioning wise exposure to any is a decent bet.
The most difficult thing rn will be to do nothing. Once allocated just chill, Iβm trying very hard to do that myself
Rethinking and improving my thesis as more info presents itself
But still even with conviction we need to be like water, never marry any bags, take profit when it feels like the price is right or overheated, and managing emotions + risk management
Consistently sticking to these basic disciplines will help improve win rate, and hopefully rising tides lift all boats (soon)

I think I view $HYPE and $PURR as core bags as they are PvE in nature rn with many more marginal buyers that will buy in, and catalyst will keep going into the HyperEVM launch next year which introduces staking etc to the already deflationary token design of HYPE
Other than that Iβm positioning towards AI agents that I find interesting and capture sectors I think will do well alongside AI
For that, I have AIXBT as exposure towards the Virtuals ecosystem, BINARY as exposure towards DeSpace (if it becomes an actual meta this coin will blow up), ALCH (super interesting AI mini app infra, differentiated use case versus other AI coins), AVB (Inori network exposure play, funded by a16z), CATANA (cat season play), DOGE (wormhole) (CEX listing potential + unlimited mindshare spikes from Elon), OPUS (trained Truth Terminal, created Gospel of Goatse, and team trying to bring it live on Twitter), HAT (AI agent launchpad, tons of building going on and shipping speed is nuts

Took profits off $FARTCOIN, still have a firm belief that GOAT beta is currently in the process of diminishing returns, I do not wish to play that game anymore
I think AI meme meta has a 50% chance of just cooling off and going into consolidation mode, therefore will simply stick to $GOAT for exposure and nothing else.
Started rolling my profits into $FWOG, which is pretty compelling for several reasons:
1. The art is sick
2. Community is sticky
3. Holder count very distributed (23.5k holders and growing)
4. Not a KOL infested shit fest
5. Only 200m + mcap????
