There are always many uninformed opinions about court cases in the public eye that inevitably lead to vitriolic, malicious, and often defamatory comments and social media posts concerning those involved, especially from those who already hold biased opinions. The case involving Conor McGregor is no different.

It is always wise to become informed about evidence presented to a court before exercising our right to free expression. It is all there in a number of locations to assess in the interests of ethics and justice.

Furthermore, regardless of opinion, posting malicious and defamatory comments is never a good look.
