Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coconut Oil Expeller Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining coconut oil expeller machines, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor coconut oil expeller machines to extract oil from coconut kernels.
- Ensure the expeller machine is functioning optimally and perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
- Monitor the quality of extracted oil and ensure it meets company standards.
- Clean and maintain the work area and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for coconut oil extraction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues with the expeller machine.
- Keep accurate records of production output and machine performance.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating coconut oil expeller machines or similar equipment.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality coconut oil.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to maintain production records.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and hygiene standards in food processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a small-scale coconut oil processing facility.
- Familiarity with local coconut oil production techniques.
- Certification or training in machine operation or maintenance is a plus.
