*Experienced Accountant - Construction Industry*

*Location:* East Legon, Shiashie, Lapaz, Madina, Achimota, Spintex, and surrounding areas

We are a *multinational construction company* seeking to hire a *qualified and experienced accountant* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly within the construction industry, and a passion for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

*Key Responsibilities:*
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
- Monitor and manage financial transactions related to construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review and process invoices, payments, and payroll for the construction team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts for ongoing projects.
- Provide financial analysis and support to project managers and senior leadership.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of construction contracts, payments, and expenses.

*Requirements:*
- *Minimum 5 years of experience* in accounting, with at least *3 years in the construction industry*.
- *Bachelor’s degree* in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Strong understanding of construction project accounting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must live in or around *East Legon, Shiashie, Lapaz, Madina, Achimota, or Spintex*.
