(a) (i) Three uses of the electron gun in the cathode ray oscilloscope are:
1. To control the beam intensity.
2. To deflect the beam horizontally and vertically.
3. To focus the beam.

(ii) The inner wall of a cathode ray oscilloscope tube is coated with graphite to reduce secondary electron emission. This helps in maintaining the stability of the electron beam and prevents it from being scattered.

(iii) To measure the voltage of a cell using a cathode ray oscilloscope, you can connect the cell to the oscilloscope and apply a known voltage to the vertical deflection plates. By observing the deflection of the electron beam on the screen, you can calculate the voltage of the cell based on the deflection and the known voltage application
