EMSA Ethiopia at the 61st EMA Annual Conference ✨🎙️

Over the past two days, February 21–22, EMSA Ethiopia was honored to be part of the 61st EMA Annual Conference. Our Executive Board members actively contributed to the event, with three of them serving on the Scientific Committee 🧑‍⚕️📖 and facilitating panel discussions. Additionally, our SCOPH National Officer took part in a panel discussion, representing the voice of medical students in crucial healthcare conversations.

We also had EMSA members working on membership and registration 💼📝, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the event.

We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in such an esteemed platform and contribute to meaningful discussions shaping the future of healthcare in Ethiopia! 🌍💙

🌟 Meet Dr. Hunde Ahmed, the Ethiopian Medical Association 2025 Young Influential Physician Awardee!

As a pediatrician and assistant professor at Jimma University Medical Center, he has made significant contributions to child health. Dr. Hunde serves as chief clinical director and has held various leadership roles, including vice department head and president of the Ethiopian Medical Association's Jimma branch.

A founding member of the Ibnusina Charitable Organization, he is dedicated to advancing healthcare and training in Ethiopia.

Dr. Tilahun Received multiple “Best Senior Surgeon of the Year” awards for dedication and excellence at JUMC.

Hello our fellow students!
As you all know the service of the cafe is not optional in our campus and there has been no refund for non cafe students.

We are writing and collecting a petition to get our cost sharing  refunded for non cafe students. So any student who is in need of being a non-cafe,  can write your full information( full Name, Id, department and year) on petition paper in your class.

Note, After the petition is submitted  there is no withdrawal system. And you are never allowed to use cafeteria service after you get your cost sharing refunded, and it is a grave violation of disciplinary rule.
So be certain that you're fully responsible and interested.
#All colleges except health students in the main campus register through your class representatives, up to coming Tuesday.
