The OSCE Academy is seeking to hire a Programme Assistant (for MAHRS Programme) to be based in Bishkek who will be initially hired until 31 December 2024, with the possibility of continuation after mutual approval and funding availability. Further collaboration depends upon both parties’ agreement and the Academy’s development. Under the supervision of the Academy’s Management, the MAHRS academic supervisor, and in coordination with the Head of the Department of Education, the MAHRS Programme Assistant contributes to the OSCE Academy’s MAHRS Programme activities.
Key duties and responsibilities.
The MAHRS Programme Assistant is expected to:
• Provide technical support to instructors for students’ course set-up;
• Track license and accreditation expiry dates; arrange timely renewal of platform subscriptions;
• Support the MAHRS team at the OSCE Academy and deliver teaching activities (modules, guest lectures, seminars, training) for the MAHRS students. Provide logistical support to the faculty;
• Conduct proper records management, prepare documentation for archiving, and prepare monthly reports on the activities carried out;
• Administer and organize internships and MAHRS international mobility programme for students, including receiving applications, correspondence with organizations and students, maintenance of internship database of students, a database of partner institutes/organizations, preparation of relevant documentation for scholarship payment;
• Prepare documentation for the State Attestation Commission (preparation of memos, as well as certificates of services completion by members of the SAC, reviewers, supervisors of master's theses);
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Management.
Candidates for this position should meet the following minimum requirements:
• MA degree in International Relations, Law or Humanities;
• Experience in working with a diverse and international student body;
• Excellent knowledge of English (knowledge of Russian is an asset);
• Practical interpersonal, communication, administrative and coordination skills.
The OSCE Academy will provide/cover:
• The salary range will be discussed on the results of the interview;
• Visa and work permit support (fees for visa and work permit application (if needed) to be borne by the applicant);
• Office space, a computer, and access to the related OSCE Academy’s facilities.
