Job Announcement
An Iraqi contracting company is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
• QA/QC (Civil Engineer)
• PH
• PA
• Qualifications Required:
Must reside in Basra Governorate.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the respective field.
A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline.
Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
1. Qualifications Required (PA):
Experience in managing work permits and ensuring compliance with required procedures.
Skills in auditing and reviewing permits to ensure document completeness and approval.
Ability to provide guidance and ensure workers’ adherence to health and environmental procedures.
2. Qualifications Required for (PH):
Experience in preparation of final documents to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Ability to collect and document all project-related records, including inspection and evaluation reports.
Coordination with other departments to ensure all requirements are completed before project handover.
Comprehensive understanding of client requirements and safety standards needed for successful project handover.
Additional Notes:
Holding accredited professional certifications in HSE, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent, is preferred.
Willingness to work at project sites while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications Required for QA/QC:
The ability to prepare quality reports and periodic inspections.
Proficiency in working with programs and engineering software such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Personal Skills:
Ability to lead work teams and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
Additional Requirements:
Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
Ability to work at project sites and adapt to working conditions.
