Then, many are suspicious that their computer with Microsoft Windows software is spying on them. But, how can we test what data is truly being sent up in to the ‘cloud’ by Windows? Programs like ‘Wireshark’ will monitor your Windows PC to see what is being sent and received, but they’re complicated to use. We take a look at a much easier way to verify and prove - with a network forensics program that is easier to use than Wireshark - how much of your data is being sent out to the internet by your Windows computer when you least expect it. You might be disturbed when you see the truth!
We also take a look at a new way to configure a cellphone so that it doesn’t use either the Google Android, or Mac IOS operating system, using ‘Ubuntu Touch’ as an alternative to prevent spying. How practical is it to use as a daily phone in our lives?
