The National Stock Exchange (NSE) said it wants to launch its IPO, which could beat Hyundai's record of largest public issue, not for price discovery of its shares but for the sake of transparency and accountability.

NSE is awaiting Sebi's nod to file papers. "Whenever the approval comes, we will go for the IPO," the official said.

The exchange's current market capitalization is near Rs 4.75 lakh crore and if NSE decides to offload 10% equity in the IPO, the size of it could be around Rs 47,500 crore making it the biggest-ever public issue in India.

Why Indian stock market is going down ?

1. 70% of smallcaps and Midcaps are still expensive
2. Reliance is down roughly 20% after muted numbers & overall Q-2 earnings are weaker than expected.
3. Auto companies are guiding for weaker demands in future .
4. IPO market ( HYundai + Waree + Swiggy + FPOs ) took away approx Rs. 45000 crores .
5. FIIs selling big time > 1 Lacs cr in last 41 days
6. ASM/ GSM Nonsense by regulator all the time, value of collateral is going down.
7. Post tax return from Indian market is going down due to higher STT and taxation ( Latest budget )
8. Spike in Dollar index & US bond yields
9. RBI is extremely slow & looks like they are sleeping .
10. Local investors are also going slow , after recent losses .
11. China is cheap & Hence some FIIs are allocating fresh money to China more Vs India .
12. INR at all time low and Economy is clearly slowing done
13. Many short term guys are selling deliveries also , bcoz they have better options in other markets , with lower taxation.

📊 China approves $839 billion refinancing of local government debt in fresh stimulus 📊

📮 China's top legislative body - the National People's Congress (NPC) - on November 8 approved the State Council's proposal to increase local government debt limit by $838 billion.

📮 The debt swap plan is spread over three years, said Xu Hongcai, the vice chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress, and will help reduce China's interest payments by 600 billion yuan over five years, freeing up resources for development.

2. Vote for 25 basis point rate cut was unanimous

3. Fed says risks to goals remain "roughly in balance"

4. Labor market conditions have "generally eased"

5. Fed removes "gaining confidence" on inflation moving to 2%

6. Fed will continue to reduce its balance sheet

Expect another 25 basis point rate cut in December 2024.
