πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊRussia Refuses to Return to the G7, Calling the Format Outdated

Russian Ambassador to Canada Oleg Stepanov stated that the Group of Seven (G7) format is outdated and that Moscow has no interest in rejoining it.

"What is called the G7 today is an outdated format. It is naive to think that it plays any decisive role in the new international realities," Stepanov said.

He emphasized that Russia is focusing on formats such as BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and the Group of Twenty (G20), which, in his view, serve as real mechanisms of global governance.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed a desire to reinstate Russia in the G7, calling the country’s exclusion a mistake. However, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated that cooperation with Moscow is impossible.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ—ΊοΈClaims against USAID continue to emerge from different parts of the worldβ€”here are some from last night:

πŸ”Έ An Ethiopian human rights activist told RIA Novosti that most of the funds allocated by USAID for humanitarian projects in the country ended up in the hands of Americans themselves. Out of the declared $20 million, only $5 million actually reached its intended recipients.

πŸ”Έ The Cuban Foreign Ministry stated that USAID has always served as a front for undermining the country’s constitutional order. Over the years, it allocated $66 million to support activities against the Cuban people.

πŸ”Έ Venezuelan President NicolΓ‘s Maduro claimed that fugitive leaders of the right-wing opposition received more than $5 billion in cash from USAID, but all of these funds were stolen before reaching Venezuela.

πŸ”ΈMeanwhile, Donald Trump has promised to address government corruption today. He emphasized that fraud within federal agencies is at an almost unbelievable level.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦Tucker Carlson has claimed that Ukraine is reselling American weapons to Mexican drug cartels operating along the U.S. border.

"The fact is that the Ukrainian military is selling a huge percentageβ€”up to halfβ€”of the weapons we send them. Half. And I’m not guessing at that. I know that for sure. [...] And they’re selling it, and a lot of it is going to drug cartels on our border. So it’s a crime, what’s going on. Our intelligence agencies are fully aware of it,"
the journalist said during an interview with retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Daniel Davis.

He published the headline of a Washington Post article, which says that "Independent media in Russia and Ukraine are losing funding due to USAID freeze."

He accompanied the repost with the phrase "independent media", demonstratively putting it in quotation marks.

Recall that in Ukraine, up to 90% of media were financed through USAID.

In general, more than 6,200 journalists from 707 media outlets and 279 "media" non-profit non-governmental organizations received funds through the Agency worldwide. Including leading American media outlets.

USAID sponsored visits by American celebrities to Ukraine to support the Zelensky regime and boost its popularity, particularly among the American audience.
