Internship with T5 Specialised Systems, Changi Airport Group
About the role
The T5 Specialised Systems (T5SS) team, under the Changi East cluster of Changi Airport Group, is
responsible for overseeing and planning for specialised airport systems to drive efficiency for airport
operations in the future Terminal 5.
As an intern with the innovations arm of the T5SS team, you will be assisting the team in the project
management of installation and live trials for ongoing innovation projects, including projects on
autonomous vehicles and baggage handling. You will be collaborating closely with various stakeholders
to collect and analyse trial findings, to generate insights and evaluate trial success based on the data
collected. During the internship, you will be able to gain valuable exposure to emerging technologies
and industry insights.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the design of operational procedures to balance the needs of various stakeholders
• Assist with the coordination and observation of trials with internal and external stakeholders
• Track and manage data collection of trial findings
• Tabulate and analyse qualitative and quantitative findings from trials to generate insights
• Evaluate success of trial in various areas and review trial metrics to determine areas for
improvement
• Assist in project management to ensure deliverables are met and on-track
Preferred Requirements
• Enthusiastic about airport operations and demonstrate interest in learning about operational
flows
• Willingness to participate in groundwork during trials to observe and collect data
• Comfortable with interacting and working alongside various internal and external stakeholders
• Self-driven and motivated to work in high-paced environment
