🚨Dark chocolate

🍭Dark chocolate has several times more antioxidants than green tea or red wine.

And it contains substances that may help lower your blood pressure, improve your cholesterol levels and brain function, and help your body deal with insulin.

🍭The percentage of cocoa in dark chocolate is important. The more cocoa chocolate contains, the darker it is, and the more health benefits it's likely to have.

As the cocoa percentage increases, the chocolate is also less likely to contain other ingredients.

🍭The higher cocoa percentages generally mean more beneficial compounds,like antioxidants , flavonoids & minerals

Look for atleast 70% -80% cocoa, it can give you incredible health benefits, provided you do not overdo it and you choose the right quality.

🍭Dark chocolate contains compounds that may help:

🍫 Lower stress- by lowering stress hormones like cortisol

🍫 Improve heart health- dark chocolate has flavanols or antioxidants that help fight free radicals, improve blood flow and lower cholesterol

🍫 Lower blood sugar- but only when it has at least 70-80% cocoa in the dark chocolate. The flavonoids in dark chocolate help to regulate insulin levels and keep blood sugar levels stable. Dark chocolate also helps to improve blood flow and reduce inflammation.

🍫 Boost mood- dark chocolate contains iron, magnesium and an amino acid called tryptophan that turns into serotonin, our feel-good brain chemical.

Choose dark chocolate made with as few ingredients as possible.

Choose a brand that does not have sugar listed first on the ingredients list.
