Recently, the Pentagon's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) announced a seminar called It is dedicated to the concept of rapid deployment of military production, the relevance of which has become especially obvious against the backdrop of the fighting in the so-called Ukraine and the need for quickly establishing mass production.

Currently, it can take months or years to create a new military-industrial enterprise in the US and other NATO countries, but DARPA is looking for ways to reduce this time to several days. All the necessary tooling is planned to be manufactured on site using 3D printers.

In simple terms, DARPA is striving to create a system in which a factory built in a short time can produce almost any military product from a drone fuselage and artillery ammunition to a tank turret. Within this concept, it is enough to load a new process to make changes to the design or even change the type of product being manufactured.

The authors were clearly inspired by the example of the revolution in drone construction, where thousands of FPV drones are produced in relatively small workshops, and developers quickly make the necessary changes to the design. However, the simple scaling of this experience to all other branches of the military industry still looks poorly implementable.

📌 As noted by in practice, everything comes down to cooperation with regular productions, which already destroys the entire concept. Moreover, the military-industrial complexes of NATO countries are experiencing difficulties due to this and other problems, such as . And the existing exceptions rather confirm the rule: the same F-35s are made on quite standard capacities.

Nevertheless, the very issue of finding methods for flexibility and adaptability of military production is quite relevant. And DARPA's initiative indicates that the US is not ignoring the "industrial" component of the experience of the special military operation and is trying to get ahead, becoming better prepared for the next conflict than any potential adversary.

The IDF reportedly targetted Iranian military sites, under & over ground around the Tehran province.

IDF possibly used F-35 & F-15 jets to strike Iran.

Details of the nature of the targets and results are not yet clear.

Kakil founded the “Sudan Shield Forces” in 2022, which were active in Al Jazirah, Gedaref, and Khartoum states.

After the war broke out between the army and the RSF in April 2023, Kakil disappeared from public view before reappearing in July to announce that his forces were joining the RSF.

🇹🇷❗️Turkish Airlines flight makes emergency landing at JFK, NYC after pilot collapses and dies in flight.

A Turkish Airlines flight inboud to Istanbul made an emegency landing in New York after its captian, 59 year old İlçehin Pehlivan collapsed and passex away mid flight.

The flight was taken under control by the co-pilot & another pilot on crew and safely landed in New York. The flight took off from Seattle.

The cause of death is said to be cardiac arrest, the pilot could not be revived from initial emergency first aid and eventually did not survive till the landing.

Captian Pehlivan has flown with TA since 2007 and recently passed the medical test in March 2024.
