-In an operation carried out by the joint team of DRG, CoBRA and CRPF, 12 Maoist have been killed.
-This operation was carried out in the forest of Bijapur, Chhattisgarh.
-Started on the morning of Thursday i.e yesterday, this operation lasted till night of 16th January '25.
-Over 1000 of security personnel were deployed for this operation. Five units of CoBRA and an entire battalion of CRPF were involved.
-Total number of maoist killed this year are 14.
-On January 6th, '25 we lost eight jawans and a civilian when an IED ripped through their SUV on Kutru-Bedre road in Bijapur.
