The multipolar world:
- In a world where the US can no longer pursue security through dominance, it makes sense to pursue indivisble security through mutual disarmament to reduce security competition (also, the US is broke)
- I hope Trump is genuine and this is not just noise

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth says Ukraine will not be part of NATO and will not get its pre-2014 territories back
* This was obvious three years ago, yet hundreds of thousands of men were sent to their deaths. Our governments, media and "NGOs" pushed ridiculous narratives of "Ukraine is winning" and other obvious lies to sell a long war to the public, while shutting down free speech by smearing, censoring and cancelling anyone who challenged their war narratives
* Ukraine could have had its pre-Feb 2022 territory back in return for neutrality, yet the US/UK sabotaged the Istanbul agreement for a long war to use Ukrainians to bleed Russia -and the media refused to report on it. Our governments then refused any diplomacy for three years as they watched all these young men die.
* Ukraine is now destroyed, Russia is organising its economy toward China and the east, Europe is destined for economic decline, political instability and growing irrelevance in the world.

Is Politico spreading disinformation?
- Where is the quote of Putin promising to conquer Ukraine in three days?
- Putin contacted Zelensky on the first day after the invasion to start negotiations based on restoring Ukraine's neutrality (confirmed by Zelensky), and on the third day after the invasion they agreed to start talks with the main focus on restoring Ukraine's neutrality - the objective was not to "conquer Ukraine" and Putin did not say it could be done in three days.
- The US/UK sabotaged these peace agreements to pursue a long war against Russia. Then NATO shut down all diplomacy and has armed Ukraine ever since (to deny Russia any exit plan besides capitulation). Now America's long war is sold to the Western public as Putin's delusion
- The 'three days to conquer' Ukraine story appears to be based on alleged emails from Russian intelligence that Zelensky may be overthrown.

“What can we negotiate now? We can only nod our heads and agree to their demands, and what they will demand is obviously going to be something that we don’t like” - Ukrainian soldier to WP
- During the Istanbul negotiations, Russia agreed to leave Ukrainian territory in return for Ukraine's neutrality / end NATO expansionism. The US and UK sabotaged the peace agreement to pursue a long war, as NATO could use Ukrainians to weaken a strategic rival. As Zelensky warned in March 2022: “There are those in the West who don’t mind a long war because it would mean exhausting Russia, even if this means the demise of Ukraine and comes at the cost of Ukrainian lives”.
- Anyone calling for negotiations over the past 3 years has been smeared as a "Putinist" as the only acceptable "pro-Ukrainian" position was to continue fighting. The consequence? Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are dead and 20% of its territory has been lost. Now it is finally allowed to speak of negotiations as we have run out of Ukrainians.

Willy Brandt once argued: "Security in Europe is indivisible – it is for all or for none", and our objective was to replace zero-sum bloc politics with inclusive formats to mitigate the security competition
- We had this opportunity after the Cold War but abandoned it to pursue liberal hegemony. Today, bloc politics is the solution to all problems, we are not even allowed to discuss Russian security concerns. NATO expansionism and weapons are the path to peace, unnecessary wars are provoked, peace agreements are consistently sabotaged, diplomacy is criminalised, and negotiation is a naughty word used by traitors. The world is believed to be a struggle between good and evil, and defeating the world's largest nuclear power is required for peace. Political opposition from France to Germany is marginalised, we supported rigging Moldova's election and overturning the election results in Romania, and Georgia barely escaped another colour revolution by our "NGOs" that hijack and corrupt civil society.

In 1903, the US successfully pushed for Panama's secession from Colombia to seize control over the construction and ownership of the Panama Canal. The US claimed sovereignty over the canal between 1903 and 1979, and Panama only restored its full control over the canal on 1 January 2000. Propaganda is the science of convincing an audience without appealing to reason. Russophobia, defined as the irrational fear of Russia, should be a key theme in the study of propaganda in the West as Russia has throughout history been assigned a diametrically opposite identity as the “Other”.
The West and Russia have been juxtaposed as Western versus Eastern, European versus Asiatic, civilized versus barbaric, modern versus backward, liberal versus autocratic, and even good versus evil. During the Cold War, ideological dividing lines fell naturally by casting the debate as capitalism versus communism, democracy versus totalitarianism, and Christianity versus atheism.
After the Cold War, anti-Russian propaganda aims to filter all political questions through the simplistic binary stereotype of democracy versus authoritarianism, which provides little if any heuristic value to understand the complexities of relations.

- Convinced that they are US allies rather than vassals, Europe's political leaders believe that pursuing national interests undermines the collective West

The strange economic death of Europe:
- Buying Russian energy through India as an intermediary as an added cost, which makes European industries less competitive. Economic suicide by virtue-signalling.
- The US destroyed Europe's energy infrastructure to capture the market and sell their expensive energy. Now the US offers subsidies to uncompetitive European industries to relocate to the US. Political elites attempting to seem normal and relatable is always awkward:
- After globalisation in the 19th century, the political elites became increasingly detached from the public. Populists fill the vacuum created by the growing gap between the political elites and the public by claiming to represent the people against the elites, and the elites respond by attempting to seem relatable. The same has happened under the globalisation of our time as political elites form global networks with dependence on global institutions and global capital, thus they become less accountable to their own public
- Instead of addressing this problem honestly, we get these desperate efforts by political elites to seem normal and relatable. Every speech is narrative- and brand-building in which they focus on being raised with limited means and being just like you
