🌡️🌍 How are #WorldHealthSummit 2024 leaders in Berlin 🇩🇪 listening to health workers’ voices on #Climate and #Health?
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/world-health-summit-2024-workers-climate-community-qafve/

Laëtitia Eulodie Zagré, a midwife from the Koupela Region of Burkina Faso said: "Climate change is harming the health of my community. Unfortunately, in rural areas, our parents have swapped their traditional homes for modern buildings, without respecting the finishes. We have cinder block houses with tin roofs in a heatwave of over 45 degrees and many elderly people or people with chronic illnesses have died this year."

Zagré is one of 122 health professionals who shared her experience and insights in the collection "Climate change and health: Health workers on climate, community, and the urgent need for action".

She was also one of 21,389 health leaders – primarily government staff from local communities – who contributed to #TeachToReach on 20-21 June 2024.
