Incredible Barclay Lake 😍🏞️
Situated at 2,300 feet elevation in the northeast shadow of Mt. Baring, Barclay has long been a favorite family hike in the Skykomish River valley. The lake is open to fishing year-round, but the trail is generally open only from mid-April through October. Rainbow trout generally grow 6,5-11-inches long, but larger fish are also present in low numbers. This lake is best fished from a raft, but there are also several camps occur along the north shoreline. This is a great place to introduce youngsters to mountain lake fishing!
