عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى أَكُونَ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ وَالِدِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ* .‏
_-رواه البخاري ومسلم-_

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: *'None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him than his father, his child and all the people.'* "

Rasulullah ﷺ bersabda:

Sickness Is Expiation For Sins


_Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira : The Prophet ﷺ said,_

مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حُزْنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ ‏

"No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."

Sahih al-Bukhari 5641, 5642.

**Sakit Adalah Penghapus Dosa**


_Diriwayatkan dari Abu Said Al-Khudri dan Abu Hurairah : Rasulullah bersabda,_

مَا يُصِ يبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حُزْنٍ وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غَمٍّ حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ.


“Tidaklah seorang muslim itu ditimpa musibah baik berupa rasa lelah, rasa sakit, rasa khawatir, rasa sedih, gangguan atau rasa gelisah sampaipun duri yang melukainya, melainkan dengannya Allah akan mengampuni dosa-dosanya.”

HR. Al-Bukhari, No. 5641 dan 5642

SELF-AMAZEMENT

Being Self-amazement is extremely dangerous. But the cure of self-amazement is being concious of guidance that it is from Allah and it is a favor. This expels self-amazement.
وَلَوْلَآ اِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُۙ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِۚ
{It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden : That which Allah's wills! There is no power but Allah!}
[Qur’an 18:39]

TAKJUB PADA DIRI SENDIRI

Perasaan takjub pada diri sendiri sangat berbahaya. Namun obat dari rasa takjub pada diri sendiri adalah dengan menyadari bahwa semua itu berasal dari Allah سبحانه وتعالى dan nikmat dari-Nya.
وَلَوْلَآ اِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُۙ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللّٰهِۚ
Dan mengapa kamu tidak mengatakan ketika memasuki kebunmu : Maa syaa Allah Laa Quwwata illa billah (Sungguh atas izin Allah semua ini terwujud, tiada kekuatan kecuali dengan pertolongan Allah)
[Al Qur'an 18:39]

Indeed I'm Near

• وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ •
When My servants ask you (Prophet) about Me: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon Me. So let them respond (with obedience) to Me and believe in Me, perhaps they will be guided (to the Right Way)

(Al Baqarah : 186)

Sesungguhnya Aku dekat

Ketika hamba-hamba-Ku bertanya kepadamu (Nabi Muhammad) tentang Aku, sesungguhnya Aku dekat. Aku mengabulkan permohonan orang yang berdoa apabila dia berdoa kepada-Ku. Maka, hendaklah mereka memenuhi (perintah)-Ku dan beriman kepada-Ku agar mereka selalu berada dalam kebenaran.

Expressing purpose with “to” and “for”

We can use “to + infinitive” and “for + noun” to talk about the purpose of an action or the reason why we do something.

To + infinitive
I went to the grocery store to buy some vegetables.
I studied hard to pass the exam.

For + noun
Let’s go to the café for a hot chocolate.
This book is for beginners.

Compare "to" vs "for"
I went to the shop to buy some milk.
I went to the shop for some milk.

BE CAREFUL:
We don’t use "for + -ing verb" to say what is the purpose of our actions/why we do something.

I work hard for improving my English.❌
I work hard to improve my English.✅
Turn the TV on for watching the news.❌
Turn the TV on to watch the news.✅

BUT
We can use "to + infinitive" or "for + ing verb" to talk about the purpose or function of a thing/what an object is used for.

This machine is used for cleaning cars.✅
This machine is used to clean cars.✅
This is a special camera for photographing small objects. ✅
This is a special camera to photograph small objects.✅
