🙏 We would like to thank the dedicated council employees who worked from the very early hours of the morning to patrol the roads and ensure that the schools opened as scheduled. Thank you to the Education Department and teachers who worked to find substitutes for missing staff in order to open all the schools on time.

*Tomorrow the education system will operate on schedule*. We are working in cooperation with the Gush Etzion Regional Council on this issue.

❄️ מזג האוויר צפוי להיות קר מאוד גם הלילה עם היתכנות מסויימת לקרה על הכבישים. הקפידו על נהיגה זהירה ואיטית.

ניתן לפתוח מעט את ברז המים כדי לנסות למנוע את תופעת התנפצות קולטי השמש.

🙏ברצוננו להודות לעובדי המועצה המסורים שפעלו משעות הבוקר המוקדמות מאוד על מנת לסייר בכבישים ולוודא שניתן לפתוח את מסגרות הלימודים כסדרן. תודה לאגף החינוך וצוותי החינוך שעמלו על מציאת מילוי מקום לצוותים החסרים בכדי לפתוח את כל המסגרות בזמן.

השבוע , בימים שני, שלישי ורביעי בתאריכים 24-26/02/2025, יבוצעו עבודות לילה בכביש המנהרות, בין השעות 00:00 ועד 05:00.
ביום שני 24/02/25: תחסם התנועה *לכיוון דרום* במקטע שבין מחלף רוזמרין ועד מחסום המנהרות - התנועה בכיוון הנגדי תישאר פתוחה כרגיל.
בימים שלישי ורביעי 25-26/02/25: תחסם התנועה *לשני הכיוונים*

התנועה תופנה לדרכים חלופיות (כביש הוולאג'ה/ כביש עין כרם/ כביש תקוע).

Traffic Update: Construction Work in the Tunnels

Work will take place on the *Tunnels Road* from Monday to Wednesday, February 24-26, 2025, between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
Monday, February 24: *Southbound* traffic will be blocked between HaRosemarin Interchange and the Tunnels Checkpoint. Northbound traffic will remain open.
Tuesday & Wednesday, February 25-26 *Traffic will be blocked in both directions.*
Traffic will be diverted to alternative routes: Walaja Road, Ein Kerem Road, and Tekoa Road.
Please plan accordingly.

As of Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 22:20, the road between the Alon Shvut traffic circle and the Kfar Etzion traffic circle is closed in both directions and the Gush Intersection is closed to traffic towards Alon Shvut following a security incident.
There is currently no estimated time of opening.
