A recent system update was made to the Home Front Command application for both iPhone and Android. It is essential that everyone ensures they have the latest version of the app installed. If your app is not up-to-date, please update it by November 17th to ensure it functions properly in real time.

To check for updates:
1. Open the application.
2. Tap the settings icon.
3. Select "About."
4. You will see the version number (see attached images for guidance).

If your app version is outdated, you’ll be prompted to update it.

Latest versions:

✅ For Apple devices: Version 6.0.0

Is your app up to date? Great! Please also make sure your family members' apps are updated.

לאחרונה בוצע עדכון גרסה לאפליקציית פיקוד העורף באייפון ובאנדרואיד.
חשוב מאוד שכל אחד ואחת מאיתנו יוודאו שיש להם את הגרסה העדכנית ביותר של האפליקציה בהגדרות היישומון, ואם לא - יש לעדכן אותה עד לתאריך ה-17.11 כדי שתפעל היטב בזמן אמת.
כנסו לאפליקציה, לחצו על סמל הגלגל בפינה השמאלית למטה, לחצו על אודות היישומון - תוכלו לראות את מספר הגרסה (מצורפות תמונות).
במידה והגרסה לא מעודכנת האפליקציה תציע עדכון.

Traffic Updates for the Yahrtzeit of Rachel Imeinu -November 11-12
Please be advised of the following traffic updates for the yahrtzeit of Rachel Imeinu on Monday, November 11, and Tuesday, November 12:

The Tomer Gate at the Rachel Crossing (Bethlehem/Jerusalem) will be closed to all vehicles on both days.
Expect significant traffic delays on the Tunnel Road, Tzomet Harozmarin and the northern entrance to Bethlehem (Derech Chevron/Harozemarin entrance)
Public transportation in the Efrat/Jerusalem area may experience delays due to traffic congestion.
Access to Kever Rachel during the yahrtzeit will be restricted to public transportation only.
- Use lines 63 and 644 from the pickup area near Gates 8-9 of the Teddy Stadium.
- Monday: Service from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
- Tuesday: Service from 9:00 a.m. until midnight.

תושבים יקרים: היערכות בכבישים לרגל הילולת רחל אמנו
בימים שני ושלישי, י'-יא' בחשוון, 11-12/11, יחול יום הילולת רחל אמנו.
בימים אלו שער התומר במעבר רחל (בית לחם/ירושלים) יהיה סגור לכלל הרכבים.
צפויים עומסים *כבדים* בכביש המנהרות, צומת הרוזמרין, וצומת הכניסה לבית לחם מצפון (צומת הרחובות דרך חברון/הרוזמרין).
כמו כן, בהתאם לעומסים, ייתכנו שיבושים בתחבורה הציבורית אפרת/ירושלים.
בימי ההילולה ההגעה לאתר קבר רחל תתאפשר רק באמצעות התחבורה הציבורית קו 663 ו 644, ליד שערים 8-9 מאצטדיון טדי:
ביום שני מהשעה 11:00 בבוקר ועד ל 06:00 בבוקר ביום שלישי.
מיום שלישי משעה 09:00 ועד לשעה 24:00 .

תושבי אפרת שלום, תשומת לבכם לפעילות משאיות והכנות לריבוד הכביש בחניית מגרשי הכדורגל בתמר:
החל מעכשיו, יום רביעי 6/11 בשעה 12:00 ועד לשעות הלילה, בעקבות עבודות ריבוד אספלט במקטע בין כיכר התמר לכוון הירידה מהזית - תתקיים פעילות משאיות והכנת אספלט בחניית מגרשי הכדורגל בתמר בחלק הקרוב יותר למגרש (דרום-מערב). החניה תתאפשר בצד השני.
אין השפעה על קיום החוגים במגרשים והם מתקיימים כסדרם.

Traffic Update: Road Paving Notice
Starting this morning, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, asphalt paving will commence on the section between the Tamar traffic circle and the descent toward Zayit (north to south). Work will take place from 10:00 a.m. until evening, and there will be intermittent road closures during this time, managed by on-site traffic controllers.

Please drive with caution and maintain a speed of no more than 30 km/h throughout the work zone.

הרכב עומד בנתיב הפניה שמאלה מאפרת לכוון נווה דניאל. אין צפי לפינוי הרכב. הנתיב הימני פנוי לתנועה.

תושבים יקרים - עדכון על עבודות בכביש 300 (שד' דוד המלך) במהלך חול המועד:
בימי חול המועד ימשיכו העבודות בכביש שבין כיכר הכניסה לשכונת התמר ועד לצומת הסניקה מתחת לשכונת הזית.
בהתאם לצורך, ובאופן נקודתי ומוגבל בזמן, יחסם נתיב אחד בלבד ותהיה הכוונה במקום.

Update on Construction Work on Road 300 During Sukkot:
During Chol Hamoed, construction work will continue on the section of Road 300 between the traffic circle at the entrance to the Tamar neighborhood and the pumping station below the Zayit neighborhood.
If necessary, traffic may be reduced to a single lane for short periods, with traffic controllers on site to direct traffic.

One lane on the tunnel road (going south to north, from Gush to Jerusalem) has been blocked due to construction work. This lane closure is expected to last for approximately an hour and a half. The other lanes remain open.

In Efrat, arrival time to a protected space is a minute and a half.
Check the readiness of the protected space in your home, with an emphasis on a closed window.
Make sure that you have downloaded the Home Front Command application and that Efrat is selected as an area of interest.
You can download the home front command portal to your home computer and leave it on according to the instructions and/or leave the radio on the silent wave as attached in the picture.
The Gabbayim in shuls received instructions to prepare for any emergency event during the tefilot, including the presence of an armed person and a telephone for emergencies.

Traffic and parking arrangements in preparation for the Benaia Barabi concert at Park Ha'Asor on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Please note the following traffic and parking updates:

Road Closures: From 16:00 until 23:00, or until the end of the event (whichever comes first), HaGefen Street will be closed to traffic between the Park Ha'Asor traffic circle and the Netzach Yerushalayim intersection in both directions. Parking along the sides of the road will be prohibited.

Expect congestion on David Hamelech Street, particularly between the Machar parking lot and the event area. If necessary, traffic will be directed for safety.

Please prepare accordingly and follow the instructions of the ushers.

ייחסם לתנועה רחוב הגפן בקטע שבין כיכר העשור ועד לצומת נצח ירושלים בשני הכיוונים, ותיאסר החניה בצידי הכביש.
כמו כן, צפויים עומסים ברחוב דוד המלך, בין חניון המח"ר לאיזור האירוע. במידת הצורך תתבצע חסימה נקודתית נושמת על מנת לשמור על הבטיחות.

הודעה על עבודות בכביש המנהרות:
לרגל עבודות, הנתיב השמאלי במחסום המנהרות לנוסעים מכוון צפון לדרום (ירושלים לאפרת), ייחסם מיום חמישי, מחר בבוקר, מ8:30 ועד למוצאי השבת (10-12/10/2024).
נתיב אחד בלבד ייחסם לתנועה (המחסום השמאלי - בו היו תקלות מרובות לאחרונה). התיקון יתבצע בחמישי, ולצורך ייבוש חומרי התיקון הנתיב ייסגר עד מוצ"ש.

Update regarding construction work on the tunnel road:
Due to ongoing construction work, the left lane at the tunnel checkpoint for north-to-south travelers (from Jerusalem to Efrat) will be closed from Thursday morning, October 10, at 8:30 AM until *motzei Shabbat*, October 12. Only the left lane, where recent incidents have occurred, will be closed. Repairs will be completed on Thursday, but the lane will remain closed until midnight to allow time for the materials to dry.

Update for Wednesday October 9, 2024 at 18:53:
In the last hour, a report was received about stone throwing at the Eitam farm. Military forces arrived at the scene. Two men were slightly injured, treated on the spot by MADA and transferred to Hadassah Ein Kerem for further treatment.
The incident is under the full control of the security forces and the army.

בשעה האחרונה התקבל דיווח על זריקת אבנים בחוות העיטם. כוחות צבא הגיעו למקום. שני גברים נפצעו באורח קל, טופלו במקום ע"י מד״א ומועברים להמשך טיפול בהדסה עין כרם.
האירוע בשליטה מלאה של גורמי הביטחון והצבא.
