#Results #Aftermath Dream Big, but Stay Practical
After tackling the prelims and mains, facing less-than-ideal results leaves every judiciary aspirant asking: What next? The answer varies from person to person, shaped by your financial situation, family support, and educational background.
During the journey, it's common to feel the weight of financial dependence on your parents, which can add pressure, especially when you're not earning. Over time, thoughts like How long can I keep going? What if I don't succeed? begin to weigh on you. For female candidates, societal expectations can add another layer of stress.
At this stage, it’s easy to feel paralyzed by fear of failure. Those with the security of a family business or practice may lean towards that path. Others may explore pursuing an LLM or shifting to corporate jobs or litigation. Each path comes with its own set of challenges.
The important thing to remember is that these struggles are a natural part of the process. If you've given 2-3 attempts and aren't seeing much progress, it might be a good idea to consider a backup plan & definetly consider changing the method, techniques of your preparation. Take professional help, take guidance, don't toil alone. Dreaming big is essential, but so is being practical. Having an alternative career path can ease the pressure, allowing you to keep moving forward with confidence, no matter the outcome.
Being kind to yourself in this process is key — progress, whether big or small, is still progress.
