In April 1981, in my one to one meeting with the great Deng Xiaoping, I got his permission for Hindu pilgrims to go Kailash Mansarovar. It had been closed since 1935. I led the first group to Kailash in September 1981. It has been closed since 2020. I hope China re- opens it.

But today the State Govt representative requested me for an adjournment to a date in February. I have agreed hoping the newly elected Fadnavis Govt will follow our Manifesto and withdraw the stupid State take over of the two Temples. The new Governor, I am sure will agree.
