Ape Quests Update

In May 2023, we launched Ape Quests with a total pool of 1,800,000 DAR tokens. The pool lasted an impressive 17 months.

In October 2024, we added extra tokens to the pool as we considered redesigning Ape Quest rewards. However, participation data showed only a small group of players engaged with the campaign. As a result, we do not plan to continue it.

Ape Quests will remain active until the end of February 2025. There are no plans for exclusive token allocations for Ape Holders after that date.

We are happy to inform you that rewards will be distributed today as DAR Tokens in separated airdrops for each months!

🗒 Here’s a breakdown to help you better understand the upcoming rewards.

📌 OCTOBER:

The Quest Point pool wasn't depleted during this month. While most of the rewards have already been claimed, some users were unable to claim their full share for this period. To address this, we will distribute the difference between the rewards already claimed and the amounts users were entitled to for this month.

📌 NOVEMBER:

This month Quest Point pool was depleted on November 12th at 7:44 AM UTC. Any Quest Points earned after that time did not contribute to your November rewards

📌 DECEMBER:

In December, we paused DAR ID quests and began redesigning the system. This was because the Quest Point pool depleted much faster than anticipated, and rewards disproportionately benefited players with access to Onboarding Quests.

Quest Points and Quest Tickets were paused on December 10th at 10:00 AM UTC. To ensure fairness and prevent abuse, Onboarding Quests were excluded from December’s calculations. This decision preserved DAR funds for future play-to-earn (P2E) promotions, as otherwise, the pool would have been exhausted on December 10th, fully rewarding only the players with access to the Onboarding Quests.

🎯 Upcoming Plans for DAR ID Quests

Meanwhile the quests are paused. We are actively redesigning the Quest System to feature a more user-friendly interface and to better reward players who contribute to the ecosystem the most. While details are still being finalized, we hope the improvements will meet your expectations.

We plan to relaunch DAR distribution for the Quest System in February 2025, with more details about the mechanics coming in January 2025.
