⭕️ Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) ⭕️

✅The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) is an old age pension scheme for all land holding Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs) in the country.

✅The Scheme was formally launched on 12th September, 2019. The PM-KMY is a Central Sector Scheme administered by the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers’ Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India in partnership with the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).

✅ The LIC shall be the Pension Fund Manager and responsible for pension pay out.

✅ It is a voluntary and periodic contribution based pension system meant for all land holding Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs) throughout the country.

✅ The SMFs shall have the option to allow payment of his/her voluntary contribution to the Scheme from the financial benefits received by them from the PM-KISAN Scheme directly.

✅ The eligible SMFs who are not beneficiaries of PM-Kisan or who have not given consent to allow payment from the benefit of PM-Kisan shall submit an enrolment-cum-auto-debit mandate form for giving their consent to autodebit a bank account which is normally used by them for bank transactions;

✅ The Central Government through the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare shall also contribute an equal amount as contributed by the eligible subscriber, to the Pension Fund.

✅ The amount of the monthly contribution shall range between Rs.55 to Rs.200 per month depending upon the age of entry of the farmers into the Scheme.

✅ The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-KMY) provides for an assured monthly pension of Rs. 3000/- to all land holding Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs), whether male or female, on attaining the age of 60 years.

🎙1975 में आयोजित पहले विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन की वर्षगांठ को चिह्नित करने के लिए, विश्व हिंदी दिवस प्रतिवर्ष 10 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है।

🎙 10 जनवरी को पहला विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन 1975 में नागपुर, महाराष्ट्र में हुआ था, जिसका उद्घाटन तत्कालीन प्रधान मंत्री इंदिरा गांधी ने किया था।

🎙पहले सम्मेलन के मुख्य अतिथि मॉरीशस के प्रधानमंत्री शिवसागर रामगुलाम थे। इसमें 30 देशों के 122 प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया था।

🎙 2006 में, तत्कालीन पीएम मनमोहन सिंह ने 10 जनवरी को विश्व हिंदी दिवस के रूप में घोषित किया। इस अवसर का एक अन्य उद्देश्य हिंदी को एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय भाषा के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना है।

❇️ Important Sections of RBI Act 1934 ❇️

There are total 61 Sections in the RBI Act 1934.

👉🏻Important Sections in the RBI Act 1934
Section 3: Establishment and incorporation of Reserve Bank.

Section 4: Capital of the Bank. The capital of the Bank shall be five crores of rupees.

Section 6: Establishment of Offices, branches and agencies

Section 8: The composition of central board of Reserve Bank of India

Section 17: The business that RBI can carry out

Section 20: Obligation of the Bank to transact Government business.

Section 21: Bank to have the right to transact Government business in India.

Section 21A: Bank to transact Government business of States on agreement.

Section 22: Right to issue bank notes.

Section 24: Denominations of notes. (1) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (2), bank notes shall be of the denominational values of two rupees, five rupees, ten rupees, twenty rupees, fifty rupees, one hundred rupees, five hundred rupees, one thousand rupees, five thousand rupees and ten thousand rupees or of such other denominational values, not exceeding ten thousand rupees.

Section 27: Re-issue of notes. The Bank shall not re-issue bank notes which are torn, defaced or excessively soiled.

Section 26 (1): Defines legal tender of notes

Section 26(2): Withdrawal of legal tender of notes

Section 42: Cash reserves of scheduled banks to be kept with the Bank.

Section 45(U): Defines repo, reverse repo, derivative, money market instruments and securities.

The first schedule of the RBI Act 1934 defines the 4 areas under which the Indian states should come. The 4 areas are Western Area, Eastern Area, Northern Area, Southern Area

4. Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR): The mandatory percentage of net demand and time liabilities that banks must maintain in the form of liquid assets.

5. Non-Performing Asset (NPA): A loan or advance where interest or principal repayment is overdue for 90 days or more.

6. Inflation: The rate at which the general level of prices for goods and services rises, leading to a decrease in purchasing power.

7. Deflation: A decline in the general price levels of goods and services, often associated with reduced consumer spending.

8. Base Rate: The minimum interest rate set by the RBI below which banks are not permitted to lend, except for certain specified cases.

9. Balance of Payments (BOP): A comprehensive record of a country's economic transactions with the rest of the world over a specific period.

10. Monetary Policy: The process by which the central bank controls the supply of money, often targeting an inflation rate or interest rate to ensure price stability and general trust in the currency.

11. Know Your Customer (KYC): A regulatory process that financial institutions and other regulated companies must perform to verify the identity, suitability, and risks involved with maintaining a business relationship.

12. Marginal Standing Facility (MSF): A window for banks to borrow from the RBI in an emergency situation when inter-bank liquidity dries up completely.

13. Bancassurance: The partnership or relationship between a bank and an insurance company, wherein the insurance company uses the bank's distribution channels to sell insurance products.

14. Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR): A measure of a bank's available capital expressed as a percentage of its risk-weighted credit exposures.

15. Merchant Banking: A combination of banking and consultancy services that provide financial advice and services to large corporations and high-net-worth individuals.

16. Cheque Truncation System (CTS): An image-based clearing system that eliminates the need for physical movement of cheques for clearing, thereby speeding up the process.

17. Credit Rating: An evaluation of the credit risk of a prospective debtor, predicting their ability to pay back the debt and an implicit forecast of the likelihood of the debtor defaulting.

18. Call Money: Short-term finance repayable on demand, with a maturity period ranging from one to fourteen days, used for inter-bank transactions.

19. Foreign Exchange Reserves (Forex Reserves): Assets held on reserve by a central bank in foreign currencies, which can include bonds, treasury bills, and other government securities.

🔹 In 1928, he successfully led the Bardoli campaign & earned the title Sardar that is "leader"
