A large international social media and telecommunication company is looking for a Legal Manager / Junior Legal Officer
📍 Role is in Astana, Kazakhstan
💼 Full-time, salary payable in USD / EUR (will be discussed in personal conversation)
▶️ Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal communications, letters, requests, replies to external stakeholders.
• Process and catalogue incoming legal communications.
• Advise on cross-field issues involving business development, external relations, compliance, risk assessment and data protection.
• Work closely with other departments to assess legal and regulatory risks.
• Overseeing and guiding external legal counsel as necessary.
▶️ (Approximate) Qualifications:
• A degree in law, international relations, linguistics, communications or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Any other foreign languages will be considered an asset, even at lower proficiency levels.
• Prior university studies abroad will be an asset, as well as international work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience are desirable, especially in the fields of technology or data protection.
• Prior experience is not mandatory if you can demonstrate excellent academic performance and progressive achievement.
• Strong and bright personality.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
