One of our group members had interview of RRB PO. And he had gap of 7 years. He mailed me and asked me how to tackle the question on Gap. And I told him to answer it honestly whatever the reason is.
He mailed me 1 day ago and said that fortunately interviewer didn't asked him about Gap.
But they asked some questions on his graduation subjects. And he couldn't answer that. And interviewer asked him "Ratta mar ke pass Kiya hai ya padai karke 1st division banaya h" and he was silent and get panicked and said sorry sir.
Interviewer told him " Ha samajh gye, Aap ja sakte ho" in the last.
He told me that it was his first interview and it was very embarrassing moment for him.
Now the question is, What went wrong for him ?
See I gave 4 interviews. And I Always observe that you will always find one of the panel members Serious or Rude. Who will try to demotivate you and to get you framed in his questions.
He could have simply answered that " Sir Mene Padai karke hi 1st division banaya h, but Mera kafi gap hogya h and me last kuch years se banking ki preparation kar rha hu jaha alag subjects he isliye Mera focus in subjects par jyda tha"
They are also human being, they know and understand everything that You had gap and it's very normal that you are not able to answer that questions of graduation.
Graduation subjects have nothing to do with banking, And They know it very well. They don't want to check your knowledge. Because they are aware that You cleared Mains and You are hardworking and knowledgeable. And that's why you are sitting in front of them.
They just want to know how you deal and answer to questions with compose. Doesn't matter you know anything about graduation or not. But how you deal with questions when you don't know the answer is important.
I have experience of 4 interviews. And I remember when I appeared in my first interview SBI PO on 4th April 2023. They asked me why I came in banking after completing B.Tech.
And I couldn't answer it properly. And I did absolute blunder in that question. And I got 20/30 in interview (16/20 in GD, Total 36/50). I was nervous but I didn't panicked.
Then I appeared in LIC ADO and IDBI JAM interviews. And they both went very well. And I didn't stuck anywhere.
Then I appeared in UIIC AO interview in Mumbai. It was my worst experience. Because The 2 Main female panel members had Marathi tone. And I was not able to understand it properly. And it happened in 6-7 questions where they had to repeat the question multiple times. And I answered them confidently. There was a serious/Rude panel member too, whose English was good and he was describing the questions in English of Marathi tone. And even they found a spelling mistake in a subject name in my final marksheet. And they asked me spelling and I answered it. And they told this/that about my college.
It was my worst experience. But the thing that goes in favour of me was my body language and confidence.
There was problem in understanding the Marathi tone, but I didn't panicked anywhere. And I got 40/50 in interview.
It is my experience, "BE CONFIDENT in your answers. NEVER GET PANIC, doesn't matter you know the answer or not"
All the best and Keep Shining✨
