➼ According to the Central Government, 20 lakh 58 thousand new employees have been registered under the  'Employees State Insurance Corporation' (ESIC) in September this year.
केंद्र सरकार के अनुसार इस वर्ष सितंबर में ‘कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम’ (ESIC) के अंतर्गत 20 लाख 58 हजार नए कर्मचारियों को पंजीकृत किया गया है।

➼ The Indian Air Force has started an 11-day exercise from November 19 at  ' Chinyalisaur Airport' in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. This exercise will continue till November 28.
भारतीय वायुसेना ने उत्तराखंड में उत्तरकाशी जिले के ‘चिन्यालीसौड़ एयरपोर्ट’ पर 19 नवंबर से 11 दिवसीय अभ्यास की शुरूआत की है। यह अभ्यास 28 नवंबर तक जारी रहेगा।

➼ The third edition of the 'Global Freight Summit 2024' began in Dubai on November 18. The three-day event, organised by DP World, is attended by over 5,000 industry leaders from 155 countries, representing diverse sectors of the global supply chain industry.

➼ Sri Lanka's ruling National People's Power has won a big victory by securing a two-thirds majority in the Parliament. The leftist alliance has won 159 seats in the 225-member House. 
श्रीलंका की ‘सत्तारूढ़ नेशनल पीपुल्स पावर’ ने संसद में दो तिहाई बहुमत हासिल कर बड़ी जीत दर्ज की है। बता दें कि वामपंथी गठबंधन ने 225 सदस्यीय सदन में 159 सीटें जीती हैं। 

➼ On the occasion of ' Dev Deepawali' (Dev Deepawali 2024) on the evening of 15 November in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, a record 17 lakh earthen lamps were lit on various ghats. Apart from this, four lakh diyas were also lit around the city of Kashi.

➼ The 'World Health Organization' (WHO) has recorded a sharp increase in measles cases worldwide in the year 2023. According to a WHO report, last year 13 million cases of measles were registered worldwide, which is 20 percent more than the year 2022.

➼ India's industrial production grew by 3.1 per cent  in September this year due to increased manufacturing activities .
