WordPress / WooCommerce Website Designer / Developer
Position: WordPress and WooCommerce Website Designer / Developer
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Responsibilities:
• Analyze client requirements and develop initial wireframes for website design.
• Prepare a detailed requirements document based on client needs.
• Create a project timeline, outlining tasks and estimated hours for each.
• Design and develop website pages.
• Install WordPress on the hosting server.
• Upload and activate pre-built themes and demo content.
• Install and configure various plugins.
• Enable Arabic language support and make necessary CSS adjustments if needed.
• Use design and content management tools such as Muffin, Visual Composer, Slider Revolution, Mega Menu, and Elementor at a minimum.
• Optimize the design to work efficiently on mobile devices and tablets.
• Produce a design that fits the client’s business activity, with necessary CSS and HTML adjustments.
• Apply SEO best practices, including appropriate tags, keywords, and page titles/links.
• Provide relevant images and designs for the website, based on the client’s business.
• Make basic image edits using Photoshop when required.
• Utilize image optimization tools and plugins to improve site efficiency and loading speed.
• Set up online stores using WooCommerce, including essential features like product specifications, comparison modules, advanced search, and filtering.
• Create a blog and manage permissions.
• Configure WordPress and WooCommerce plugins, especially for payment gateways and shipping management.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of platforms such as Bootstrap and Responsive Design.
• Familiarity with PHP (preferred).
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and keyword optimization.
• Photoshop skills (preferred).
• Experience with WooCommerce and setting up online stores.
• Understanding of managing user roles and permissions for both the backend and frontend.

Work Type:
• Part-time, either by fixed hours or project-based.
Work Location:
• Remote work, with occasional meetings at the company’s office.
Work Hours:
• Daily from 9 AM to 6 PM.
