IBADAN, OYO: After speaking with sources on the ground, Naija Confra reports that an alleged Eiye member, Emperor, was brutally killed by Aye in the Abayomi area, Iwo Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Emperor, who was released from prison 3 months ago, had reportedly turned a new leaf, given his life to Christ, and started attending church regularly. Sources told Naija Confra that he was lured outside by a phone call from a very close friend, who was among his attackers.

Eyewitnesses identified the man in native attire who axed Emperor to death as his close friend. While Naija Confra won’t name him without evidence, multiple sources on the ground mentioned the same name. We urge the police and government to address cult violence before it gets to their doorsteps. Reject Cultism.

It was a Black Thursday at The Obafemi Awolowo University as Rita Esu, a final year student of The Dept of Foreign Languages was knocked down by a vehicle while she was on her way to the school to submit her final year project. Rita was attempting to cross the Ife – Ibadan axis of the road at the campus gate when the Lexus vehicle on a high speed knocked her down. She d!ed on the spot. The driver has been arrested and The Vice Chancellor has sent a condolence message to the parents of the deceased.
