I am so immensely proud to present to you: Bug’s Herbal Tea!
My 14 year old daughter has crafted 5 special blends that are now available to purchase.
This has been a wonderful homeschool project including lessons about herbs, gardening, medicine, processing herbs, branding, marketing and so much more. She has put tons of love and care into these blends as well as her packaging.

UPDATE: I am finalizing the details now and should have another year end compilation CD for 2024 filled to the max with incredible songs from the magnificent artists in these spheres very soon. Tentatively will be premiering the album release party livestream in 2 weekends, which will also have many of the artists featured on the compilation joining for interviews about their work and goals going in the new year.

The first edit for Once Upon a Time in Minnesota is finally done! Runtime sits at 51 minutes with credits, a pretty massive leap from my last project, which ran 16 minutes long.
Seeing it all come together after such an insane amount of time and effort working on this is such a gratifying feeling. I think people are gonna really like this one!
I still have to color grade, add sound effects and a score, but I should be on track for a late Febuary/early March release date. Be sure to follow here for more updates

As the year comes to an end, I'm thinking about trying to press another Fedora Favorites CD for 2024, a playlist featuring the best songs of the year composed by our artists in the sphere, compiled together for easy listening. It's a yearly tradition for the past 4 years, a good way to help introduce people to new artists and songs they may have missed and bring the community together.
I've tried my best to watch out for potential songs to be on the playlist, but it's harder to keep track of new releases without the White Art Collective streams anymore to aggregate and spotlight artists.

My first finished piece in a long, long time. I really enjoyed weaving this organic cotton and raw silk scarf. Remembering the beautiful gardens and happy memories from our old farm as the threads passed through my hands.
This piece has reignited my passion for fiber arts. I'm really excited to contribute it to the benefit art auction for my friend, a recently widowed mother and incredible artist. I'm naming this piece 'Wunjo' (pronounced "woon-yo) after the Wunjo rune which represents joy and comfort. I hope it brings its new owner much joy. 🤍

I have organized an art auction to benefit my dear friend J of Arcane Accents. Her husband unexpectedly and tragically passed away recently and our wonderful art community has come together and donated exquisite pieces to raise money for J and her young son.
The auction is now live. There will be five items in each round. Bidding lasts 2 days. There will be one off day in between rounds for me to finalize transactions. There are tons of exquisite donations so stick around for a spell! This is a unique and fantastic opportunity to snag handcrafted artisan goods made by our Folk for the holidays or for yourself - and for such a wonderful cause.

It really must have been a good omen. I realized on the first day that my reach was perhaps exceeded my grasp with the project. I began to doubt I'd be able to finish filming in time, but somehow we all pulled through and actually finished shooting the 50 page script in the 8 days we had. It almost feels miraculous. Here's a few more pictures of the Northern Lights we saw over the course of the week.

We're in Minnesota this week, helping with the shooting of Lord Wolfshield's next film, and the Northern Lights were out in full force. I'd never before witnessed them, and it was pure magic. Light seemed to ripple and writhe across the sky in a celestial dance of beauty and mystery. I can't help but believe it's a good omen for this latest film project.
