Nifty's moves like this will not let option traders earn anything, whether buyers or sellers. Because Nifty is trading totally directionless and not letting option buyers earn anything. Also at the same it is too volatile for option sellers to handle these moves, so both are unable to earn here.
In this market only traders who are making a KILL are swing traders who are selecting their stocks very carefully and managing their risk at the same time with tight stops.

Nifty completely sideways last week. Look at the candles that were formed last week, almost zero action. It was also expected because during last week of December and first week of January most of FIIs are inactive due to holiday season there and it is also evident by the look of candles that are formed.
As per my opinion any significant action will be seen only after Jan first week.

SImple tip to start of your day if you are a Swing trader:
Check daily charts of stocks in your portfolio, set various alerts at different price levels that you feel are important. Adjust your Stop loss orders (GTT) in case Markets go extreme due to news or any Geopolitical event. Your first aim should always be to protect what you have and thinking about Profits should come after that.

Being able to keep what you make, is the most underrated ability in Trading. I think many people have winning phases and they fail to keep what they made.
I personally went through this phase many times and I was so frustrated but then it clicked to me. My main problem was that I was loosing more when I lost and I was making much less than my losses. So basically risk reward is everything here.

That's why I wrote this line that day. 2 candles have covered the red candle that was made on Thursday. Now it is very important for Nifty to not loose momentum and break above resistance levels of 24380 and 24600. If we want Nifty to continue the upward momentum these levels needs to be broken.

Yesterday was Monthly expiry of Nifty and it crashed badly. I wanna see whether we continue that fall or see some buying in our Markets.
Because big fall on expiries and continuation fall in coming days will not be a good sign.
So if today and in coming weeks we see some buying in Nifty, then we can say that yesterday was just expiry liquidation fall.
