Understanding Sigma Points Farming with @sigmatonbot

Sigma Points Farming rewards users for their wallet activity in TON transactions. Here’s a quick breakdown of how it works:

1. Daily Scans
• Scan your wallet for the previous day’s activity after 00:00 UTC.
• Each scan costs 0.1 TON for one day of activity.

2. Farming Criteria
Rewards are calculated based on:
•The number of TON transactions (only TON, not other tokens).
• Your turnover in the last 24 hours (total transaction volume).

3. Skipping Days
• Missed a day? You can still scan, but costs increase exponentially:
• 1 skipped day = 0.2 TON
• 2 days = 0.8 TON, and so on, up to 7 days.
• After 7 days, the cost resets, letting you start fresh.

4. Free Claim Option
• Scan the last hour of wallet activity for free once every 24 hours to earn points!

5. Important Reminder

NOT Pixels

The TON blockchain is like a multi-core processor.

Imagine running a single-threaded program on a multi-core processor. It will certainly run, but it will be less efficient because only one core is utilized instead of all of them.

The situation is similar with sending tokens and creating smart contracts in TON.

Yesterday at the NOT Pixels minting event, the TokenTable service initially used a “single-threaded” method to send tokens to 500,000 users. While this had little to no impact on the blockchain itself and had a negligible impact on shardchain, a portion of NOT Pixels users were left unsatisfied - some of them received their tokens after an hour's wait. Messages on TokenTable contracts were executed sequentially, not in parallel.

TokenTable is a good tool for sending tokens in TON, and has previously successfully minted for games with much larger audiences using a “multi-threaded” sharded approach.

We recommend that developers working with large audiences consider sharding to provide a better UX for your services.

However, we also ask users to be understanding: service developers on TON are pioneering the use of asynchronous technologies on the blockchain. Many of the new approaches and paradigms pioneered in TON are just beginning to be actively adopted.

In TON Core, we continue to work on improving our “processor” so that even suboptimally written smart contracts can run at maximum speed.

Beware of Address Poisoning Scams on TON Blockchain

A new scam tactic, known as Address Poisoning, is becoming more common on TON. Scammers send 0 TON transactions from fake wallets designed to look like a legitimate one you just interacted with, tricking you into sending funds to a wrong address.

🔍 How It Works:

- A normal wallet interaction occurs, such as receiving an NFT or Token from a wallet.

- Soon after, 0 TON transactions appear from an address mimicking the original sender’s address.

- These scam addresses copy the first 4 and last 4 characters of the trusted address, hoping you’ll accidentally copy the wrong one when making a future transaction.

🛡️How to Protect Yourself:

- Always verify the full address before sending funds—don’t rely on just the first and last characters.

- Avoid copying addresses from your transaction history or explorer. Always copy the address from the main source.

- Ignore small random transactions (like 0 TON) from unknown wallets—these could be part of a scam.

Address poisoning exploits user habits by making addresses look familiar. Stay vigilant and double-check every transaction to avoid sending funds to scam wallets.
