✅ TF Grid 3.15 Live on Mainnet

We are pleased to announce that ThreeFold's mainnet has now been upgraded to version 3.15. A few notes:

1. Farmers using farmerbot may now safely update and restart their farmerbot
2. TF Connect app update is pending app store review (we will share when approved)
3. We are still investigating an ongoing issue affecting uptime reporting (more to come)

As a reminder, here are the new features and improvements as part of this new grid version. And a major thank you to all those involved in building and migrating this release! Stay tuned for news on TF Grid 3.16!

Peppermint is an open-source visualizer for ThreeFold minting receipts created by Scott using FastHTML. It was designed to help farmers quickly and easily check their TF nodes' farming rewards and provide clarity. The tool presents minting data in a user-friendly interface, provides detailed views of individual receipts, has sorting and filtering options, offers CSV downloads of uptime events, and more.

We're thrilled to announce that TF Grid 3.15 is in its final stages and the release process will soon begin! This update delivers powerful new features and key improvements such as:

- New apps on the Dashboard: Ubuntu 24, Jenkins, and Jitsi
- The Dashboard now supports multiple stacks per network
- Improved TFGrid Full Stack deployment documentation
- New flist-server as a lightweight alternative to Zero-OS Flist Hub
- ZOS now runnable on cloud providers like Hetzner
- ThreeFold Connect app redesign + now includes DAO voting feature
- KYC support added for grid deployments
- Mycelium 1.0 stable released
- GUI clients for Mycelium on Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS

🌐 Recap: Network State Conference

Florian was on stage at the Network State Conference in Singapore last week, to share a powerful solution for any network state.

“We are building the infrastructure layer for Network State as a Service by combining a decentralized cloud running on bare metal with a digital free zone from where we can all exist freely.”

Florian explained that if we want to create 'cloud-first’ network states, “we definitely don’t want to run them on Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud. Because privacy is power – and we need to own our digital life, and we need to own our data.”

“We built a network layer and platform where any community can deploy directly its own sovereign cloud.”

🗳 Vote: Proposed Update to the GEP Voting Process

Hello Everyone,

We are pleased to share a proposal and community vote to update the GEP voting process, to allow all TFT holders to participate in governance of the project.

Proposal Highlights:

- Voting is open to anyone holding TFT in a TFChain mainnet wallet
- Voting weight is 1 TFT = 1 vote
- A proposal will pass if 50%+1 TFT or more are positive votes
- Voting period is 5-21 days

Take a look at the full proposal. These changes are designed to streamline participation and empower every TFT holder to actively shape the future of our ecosystem.
