🟢Is the IMAT 2025 going to take place?

💠We’ve received numerous inquiries from students regarding whether the IMAT 2025 will take place or not.

💠This week, official sources confirmed that changes to entrance exams for Italian universities will occur. These changes suggest that students must first attend university, and based on their academic performance, they will then be able to select the field of study they wish to pursue.

💠While rumors about these changes have been circulating since April 2024, they have primarily focused on entrance exams conducted in Italian, not those in English. According to multiple articles, these updates are relevant to the Italian entrance exams for medicine, dentistry, and veterinary programs, with no direct information about changes to the IMAT.

💠In our view, the IMAT 2025 will likely proceed as in previous years. Any major changes to the IMAT would need to be announced well in advance, particularly due to the logistical challenges of processing visas for non-EU students and ensuring they can attend classes with adequate preparation. Additionally, it seems impractical for the Italian system to admit over 10,000 students in one academic year without affecting overall capacity.

💠We strongly advise students to follow official updates and continue focusing on their IMAT 2025 preparation. It’s crucial not to get distracted by unverified rumors. Stay committed to your study pathway, and avoid letting misinformation waste your time.
