I'm looking to trade with the bearish momentum on Friday if price can pull back into the .50 fib level zone.

This price zone is also a psychological number at $2700 which is also around the daily open that can act as a strong pivot point as well.

The only red flag here is that the daily candle has no wick, so if you want to play it safer, look for shorts around $2707 if you're not concerned about potentially missing the trade.

Hey Traders, Gold price is currently at a major key level. There will be both a good bullish or bearish setup here depending on how price action responds!

The safer play is to wait for a breakout and retest to go long... because of the fact that the trend is currently bullish so we really don't want to time the reversal.

Shorting at $2720 is an option, but technically it is higher risk due to it being against the trend. It's important to not that shorting can be validated as a technical trade setup as well.

For me... I personally will go short here, and if price does breakout and hit my SL bullish, then I'll look to go long on the retest of that breakout support key level.

Here is a strong demand zone. IF price can pullback to this level I will be looking for longs.

Previously we can see a lot of resting liquidity sitting at 2660.

Price had already broken away from the key level, pulled back and found buyers right away. So if it can happen again, it will be a good situation to take advantage of.

Price action is looking bullish on the 4 hour chart all this week so I'm attempting to keep riding this bullish momentum rather than try to time the top of the move.

As we can see, the momentum is still bullish, and this is a great pullback relative to the previous strong bullish move into my favorite fib key levels which align with previous supply/demand levels.

As traders, it's important you mark up your charts with areas of interest you are hoping to get into a trade and WAIT until price enters that level.

I had meta fix the issue through their verified customer support the first time, but just 10 hours later it was suspended again.

It's very likely that one of the scam prop firms I called out paid a 3rd party to mass report me. I figured it would happen eventually because these degens have no ethics.

Quick update on gold,

if you look at my previous setup we couldn't get the pullback we wanted to go short, gold just dumped again before buyers could push the price up far enough.

I'm liking this $2600 level for buyers to potentially set up and eat up some of this gold dump we've seen since last week.

It's nice when the bias is right but difficult to time the entries sometimes, that's part of the game.

So here is a technical setup for those who are bullish on gold still. This is for you straight technical traders on the daily chart here.

Please be cautious because it's still recent after the US election, so price is more likely to move irrationally. But from a technical analysis view, this is a very clean setup. Price close above the 0.618 key fib level. The 200MA still is looking extremely bullish, and there is a good chance we see some retracement soon from the strong selloff, maybe even forming somewhat of a head and shoulders (if you like your patterns haha)

ANALYSIS
So EUR is gaining strength economically against several pairs. As you can see form the ⁠📐〡edgefinder score, we are currently at a +7 which signals bullish fundamentals. Price action in the last 2 weeks has been selling off so I imagine some institutional money will be looking for long positions on this pair.

We are hovering right around the Daily 200MA and the 0.618 Key fib level which also aligns with some previous reversal price action historically.

I want to see the daily candle close above this 200MA, then I'll consider this trade setup valid.

It seems structure is becomming more and more bearish forming off the all time highs.

We are looking at the 30min chart. I'm watching this key level around $2640 for shorting opportunites. I think this is a valid 1:2 RRR Setup that's just within an intraday trading range.

There is so much selling pressure right now with very little sign of buyers so taking any longs will naturally be higher risk.

I know many people are still bullish on gold. Retail positions are about 64% long currently. Generally we want to look for positions against retail traders when we find it backed by a good technical argument in the price action.

So keep your eye on this key level!

Gold finally found heavy sellers after reaching all time highs. In this situation we look for key fib levels that align with previous supply or demand levels with either consolidation or strong liquidity. In this case both are true as I've marked out with the arrows. On this 4H timeframe we are still very bullish overall so there is no advantage to try shorting until we see some major momentum reversal.

Generally I do 1:1 for prop challenges but this trade setup could be held for 2-3 days so IMO it's more logical as a 1:2

ANALYSIS
Here is a beautiful combination of when technicals and fundamentals align. We've had some temporary buyers for EURAUD pushing hard though the daily 200MA. To me it looks like a liquidity grab before price continues back down as economic strength for the EUR is still weaker relative to AUD.

As you can see, we have a key fib level that lines up with the 200MA, so we want to see price get rejected and retest this 200MA to go short. So I would put this pair on your watch list and check it once per day if this entry becomes valid.

ANALYSIS
If youre big on pure technicals, this will be a nice trade idea for you. Generally I dont trade trendlines but this is the daily chart and we have 3 points of reference in previous price action. It also aligns with the RSI which has historically triggered reversals anytime the 30 or 70 level has been broken twice. RSI generally can give context to oversold conditions.

Econcomically the USD does still look stronger than EUR but momentum should be dying as econocmic reports have provided no new weakness for this pair in the last few weeks.

Remember traders, this is a 1:4 RRR so the probability to win the trade is likely lower than 50% but IMO it is a good setup if youre looking for something enter next week.

Aslo, that CADJPY Trade insane sniper entry with less than 1 pip of drawdown if you took the 108 position. Currently 130 pips in the profit. I'll take those anyday:)

Here is a setup I always keep on my watch list. There is a really heavy demand level at the zone I've highlighted in yellow and it aligns perfectly with that 0.50 Fib retracement. We should stay bullish on gold until price action gives us a reason not to be. Never Short gold against such a strong trend because you "feel" like it has to reverse eventually, that is what many retail traders do.

If price can come down to this 0.50 fib level, It's likely we will see it happen over the London session so I'll be setting buy stop orders within this price range.

Remember, this trade setup is in the context of prop firm challenge day trades which is why I choose to do 1:1 RRR but you can attempt 1:2 RRR if you like the entry, just know that it has a higher probability to lose as you increase your RRR.

The overall trend on Gold is still very bullish so it's better if we look for long daytrade setups off pullbacks rather than try to time a short reversal because we will naturally have a higher probability to win trades with the trend. As you can see the 200MA on the 1H is starting to gain some good bullish momentum.

NZD is still relatively weaker than the USD with recent economic data but not weak enough to the point to continue this bearish momentum IMO.

I recommend moving the SL to break even once 50 pips in the profit for a risk free trade as it's hard to know how hard price will bounce off this 0.618 key level

Econocmics between GBP and USD appear pretty nuteral, so this is purely a technical setup.

I recommend closing this trade at 2RRR as there is a high probablity of reversal at that zone (which could make for a good shorting opportunity later)

Lower time frame trens is really strong, COT data strong, Retail traders shorting and Inflation for CHF is higher than GBP. Looking like a perfect recipe for the bulls here. More of an intra day setup, if price does not get rejected here, and plays out the way I want it to, then we will likely be in this trade for 3 days max.

Volatility on this pair has been high within the last couple weeks, much higher than average. When the momentum shifts, it will shift quickly.

Our SL protection is placed above the 0.618 key level which is also above a historical liquidity grab. This trade is worth the risk for the potential 3:1 RRR IMO

As we can see, the Daily 200MA is still bullish with upward momentum. So let's see if price can come back down, retest this yellow zone and we can find good buying opportunity to ride this back up.

CADJPY Economics looks bullish for the pair. . I'm waiting for a healthy pullback to the 0.385 fib level so I can jump on the bullish train and ride this price action to the upsdie. There are no previous levels that might cause resistance so this pair could pump for some time.

I use a 60 pip SL because thats the lower average daily ATR, it will give the trade a little room to breath around that 0.382 fib level. I always recommend trailing the SL behind price a healthy amount to give the trade potential to really run which is a huge factor in being profitable with swing trades.

AUDCHF Trade Idea Daily Chart

I posted this setup in the discord as well. we have a .618 Fib Level that has rejected price twice previously.

Economics for AUD have been weaker than the CHF, while price is still under the daily 200MA.

40 pip SL is good here and I would move SL to break even when 40 pips in the profit and start trailing.
