If you feel that you are gambling in the market due to addiction, take action to address it before it’s too late.

Once you completely surrender to addiction, the chances of overcoming it are very slim. Rarely does anyone successfully recover from an F&O (Futures and Options) addiction.

What are your thoughts on this? Have you ever felt, at some point, that you were gambling mindlessly due to addiction ?

The problem with the majority of traders, including myself, is that they are perpetual bulls.

They fail to accept the market as it is. In a market like this where it’s evident that every rise in stocks is being sold off and bullish momentum is hardly sustainable traders still insist on focusing solely on rising stocks.

What I’ve come to understand so far is that, to survive in the market, one must be agile and alert to shifts in market momentum. Being permanently bullish or bearish is either fatal or, at the very least, unproductive.

This struck my mind today when I was analysing charts and observed that I am hell bent on finding only rising stocks.

What do you guys think ?
