We're on the hunt for a Sales Support Engineer in Syria, Damascus!
To excel in this job you have to:
- have 5 years of experience in Back office sales, Procurement, or logistics
- Hold bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Excellent in Analytical Skills.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Located in Syria, Damascus
In this role, you will handle the following tasks:
- Receive full specifications from Sales Engineers to prepare technical and commercial proposals/offers.
- Update technical and commercial proposals, if needed.
- Draft contracts and forward them to the supervisor for review.
- Coordinate with the sales team to follow up on pending contracts and proposals and assess their status.
- Receive the signed contract from the client, along with all required documents, from the Sales team and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Prepare and organize all necessary documents related to insurance and shipping and send them to the concerned company after obtaining supervisor approval.
- Send the shipping list to the designated recipient at the project site and follow up to obtain a signed copy.
- Liaise with insurance companies regarding the insurance of shipped goods and obtain insurance contracts.
- Forward insurance and shipping invoices to the Finance department for processing and payment.
- Submit claims to the insurance company in case of issues or damages, coordinating to secure appropriate compensation.
- Track the shipping process with the shipping company and keep the supervisor informed of any developments or changes.
- Receive maintenance department requests for required spare parts and specifications from elevator suppliers, prepare requisitions, and submit them to the supervisor for review and supplier correspondence.
- Maintain an up-to-date record of all requisitions, documents, and proposals used in procurement requests and archive them for easy access.
- Prepare and update timelines for expected supply deliveries for new units and share them with the Planning Engineer.
- Research new companies and establish connections within shipping and clearance to source better market options.
- Provide recommendations on technical specifications of units based on previous studies to the supervisor.
- Submit claims to suppliers if there are issues with shipments.
The job location is going to be in Syria, Damascus, Freezone
Working days/hours are from Sunday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
