WHAT HAPPENED AT WALL STREET IN OVERNIGHT TRADE:

# Wall Street ends mixed in Thursday’s trade as investors prepare for the release of the highly anticipated monthly US jobs report, which could influence the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decisions.

# At the closing bell, the blue-chip Dow Jones ended 0.30% lower at 44,747, the S&P 500 improved 0.40% to 6083 and the Nasdaq Composite up 0.5% to 19,791.

# The Positive catalyst: A drop in US bond yields helped bullish consolidation at Wall Street.

The 10-year yield reached a 2025 low of 4.400% and closed at 4.438% on Thursday after the Treasury secretary suggested President Trump is less inclined to disrupt the Federal Reserve.

# COMEX Gold consolidates near $2859 per ounce.

# WTI crude oil sluggish now below $71 per barrel following an EIA report that showed a larger-than-expected rise in US crude inventories.
