🔸 *DU 4TH YEAR GRADUATION DOUBT 🤔 🔸

🔸• DU offers both 3 year and 4 year degrees.

🔸• It is up to the student's discretion whether he wants to go for the 4th year or not. It is optional.

🔸• After a 3 year course, one gets an Honours/Prog degree.

🔸• Only those can go for the 4th year who have obtained 7.5 CGPA after 3 years.

🔸• After completing 4 years, one who was doing Honours will get an Honours + Research degree.

🔸• One who was doing a Programme degree will get a Programme + Research degree. It is equivalent to an Honours Multidisciplinary degree.

🔸• After a 4 year UG course degree, one is directly eligible to do a PHD. If you want to do PhD then give UGC NET exam.

🔸• If someone wants to do Masters, it will be done in 1 year only.

Students for Development (SFD) Delhi is organizing the 3rd Edition of *National Environment Youth Parliament (NEYP 2025)* that aims to bring youth at the forefront of the global climate action narrative and promote sustainable living for protecting the environment. The National Environment Youth Parliament will focus on various aspects of sustainable living, including conservation of water resources, reduction of plastic waste, promotion of clean energy, and protection of biodiversity.

SFD Delhi will conduct the “Stage I – Virtual debate competition/ Group Discussions” at University Level in Delhi State by receiving their entries through Google Form.

The topic for this virtual debate competition/ Group Discussions will be based on “Issues related to the field of Environment”.

The University level winners will be awarded *Paryavaran Sanrakshak Award* in an award ceremony in New Delhi to be held in the month of December. *All the participants will be given certificates.*

Shortlisted candidates will participate at the National level Mock Parliament to be held in the Month of January 2025 at Jaipur, Rajasthan, in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and various other Esteemed Stakeholders.
