You might be having your own last days plan. In case feeling lost, my two cents on next 15 days plan.

1. Next 10 days for both GS, Optional and last 5 days only GS

2. Have 3 slots in a day 5-6 Hrs each of GS & Optional, 2-3 Hrs of Ethics

3. 10 Days plan
- Socio : 5 Days each for P1, P2 : further divide each paper topics to be covered daily. Eg 1 thinker + 2 Units Daily
- GS 1,2,3 : Each Paper 3 Days
- GS 4 : Brainstorming Cases/PYQ

4. Just Revise in every slot - Own notes, PYQs, Tests given, CA (if applicable) : Idea is to cover the syllabus

5. Last 5 days (10-14 Sept) : Again revise whole GS

Hello everyone,

Mains are near. You might be feeling of not remembering anything. You might be anxious of answer writing. You’ll be feeling fearful of not able to complete the paper.

Relax! Don’t panic. Such thoughts are natural.

One approach to tackle these uncertainties is to be certain of your efforts. Prepare broad timetable of what you’ll be studying in next 15 days. Achieve daily targets and master the unknowns with known hard work.

Keep your mind occupied with “To-Dos” and when at the end of the day you tick the daily targets, you’ll feel accomplished and confident.

How to read the newspaper
Newspaper reading is always a challenge for any aspirant. I still remember pile of Indian Express staring at me with desperation of picking it up and finishing them.

But many of us don't know how to read it for best results. Most of us :
- Prepare short notes from newspaper on daily events
- Save articles and highlight it for futre reference
- Read it as separate reading material daily...

Unfortunately these are all WRONG WAYS!

Do you know single newspaper daily has enough content for GS, Ethics, Essay and even Optional. Want to know how? Sharing my views on busting myths on newspaper reading. Watch the video below.

Take sometime to identify what went wrong.

Was it CSAT, unnecessary excess guess attempts, basic silly mistake or what not. Take this as a learning and come back stronger 💪.

"कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती

असफलता एक चुनौती है, स्वीकार करो
क्या कमी रह गई, देखो और सुधार करो
जब तक न सफल हो, नींद चैन को त्यागो तुम
संघर्ष का मैदान छोड़ मत भागो तुम

कुछ किये बिना ही जय जयकार नहीं होती
कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती"

For those who couldn't make it this time, I can understand and don't want to give you philosophical gyan.

If you have worked hard, you have all the reasons to feel disappointed. Shout, Cry, Feel the pain BUT Bounce Back! This feeling of today is what will motivate you for next 9 months.

Take this as an opportunity to work on Sociology!

Congratulations to all who cleared Prelims. Real battle begins now.

As I mentioned before, now is the time to do Answer Writing to the best of your abilities.
Write More, Learn More!
To Dos-
1. Join a sectional test series (if you have not enrolled till now)
2. Do syllabus wise, keywordwise revision
3. Do self-introspection on the answer writing and take feedback from genuine mentors/seniors.

I hope all of you have geared up for Mains now.. Action plan-
1. Revise both papers in next 60 days - Join a test series, which can help you in structured timely revision and answer writing.
2. Write tests diligently - Focus on writing in context of the question and not paradrooping of keywords/thinkers.
3. Revise own notes as many times possible and do value addition through test discussions/feedback from Mentor.

I'll be sharing dedicated answer writing strategy separately in coming few days.

Keep revising Socio!👍
