Booked loss on all positions. Trades came to big green when the market rallied around 11 AM, but there was no reason to book. So kept holding and fially had to book loss. This is a part of trading when aiming for big targets.

TCS is up nearly 4% in premarket. If it sustains the whole day, it's a warning to other stocks. Market is heavily oversold, but if there is no trigger it can keep on going down bigger and bigger. But the moment there is a trigger, shorts would run for cover and the rally may go way beyond all the expectations. Let's see if TCS result can be such a trigger. Techically it's not a big deal but considering current situation, and positioning in the market, 'it is' provided it sustains the upmove whole day and moves further up during the day.

If it was not bounced and if it was in a position to close below that, I would've added more puts by end of the day. As it bounced back taking support, initial position was covered. Even Nifty also had inside candle breakout on the downside for which I took the put long. That also failed.

Nifty and Sensex are holding with a positional view, so I can afford to tolerate more price fluctuation. Sensex is expiring today and the entire premium will be wiped out by end of the day. So won't expose more positions to expiry risk.

If you loook at the Nifty chart there is a big spike which got comletely sold off. The same thing happened in BankNifty yesterday and day beofore yesterday and eventually index crashed big. Which makes us believe that the same can be repeated in Nifty today. But the speed at which the spike got sold off is making me doubtful and for the same reason, I'm not buying puts or anything today

That last fall gave good exit especially in Midcap. But still I didn't like the exti at 1:50 PM. That time my trade was not ivalidated but was on the verge of breaking the level I was watching and it stayed there for long. Which made me think that it may break and I exited. Usually I don't do that but today that was a costly mistake. I had to re-enter at a much higher price

On Friday 20th Sep, I was holding BN long similar to today and tere was a sudden big selloff in the afternoon which wiped out huge unrealized profit in few minutes. Market is a risky place and anything can happen anytime.

One big risk for BN is the HDFC Bank and Kotak result due this weekend. that makes BN very interesting. Historically Kotak Bank tanks regardless of good or bad result but it was highly overvalued compared to any other bank. But now the situation is different, valuation is very competitive and a good result can result in the stock to give a multi-year breakout too. HDFC bank usually respond to results straight forward. If everything is good and the closing is also bullish, I even donโt mind carrying the entire position to Monday too.

I've gone long in BN and may stay long for sometime. My exit point is only if there is a good breakdown and by the time premium may crash on calls. So the risk is high, but if the market continues it's momentum, reward can be many times of risk. So I'll stay long. Will post further update only if there is a change in view.

Very interesting morning! Axis bank gapped up after a stellar result and Infy gaped down after a dismal result. As Infy follows the path of TCS in terms of disappointing result, IT sector may face some pressure.
As Axis is the first major ban to declare result, it is setting the tone for the BN. In case if there is a recovery, BN can give a wild rally.
But not yet time to decide on any direction as the market is still around support range.
