"Intermediate cycle declines don't end until the cycle uptrend line is broken. Looking for a bottom before that happens is a mistake. ICL's have to wash out sentiment. That can't happen until technical traders get knocked out of their positions. That means that trend line has to break.

Also, there is usually a convincing B-wave bounce that draws in premature buyers. Those early buyers then get fleeced during the C-wave decline that makes a lower low.

The chart is my best guess as to the path gold will take and timing band for it to take it. The B-wave could occur before tagging the trend line, or after, so understand this is just a guess. But ignore all the analysts trying to call a bottom right now. None of the parameters have been met yet that indicate it's time to start looking for a bottom."
