Tata Power reported consolidated net profit of Rs 1,093 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25, growing seven percent from the last year.
The company posted net profit of Rs 1,017 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, net profit declined eight percent, from Rs 1,189 crore reported in the June quarter.
Revenue from operations declined marginally to Rs 15,698 crore in the quarter, from Rs 15,738 crore in the same period last year.

Adani Wilmar Ltd on Thursday returned to black with a consolidated profit of Rs 311.02 crore in September 2024 quarter of the current fiscal. The edible oil major had reported a loss of Rs 130.73 crore in July-September quarter of preceding 2023-24 fiscal, the company said in an exchange filing. In June 2024 quarter, the company had reported a net profit of Rs 313.20 crore.
The revenue from operations of the company was up 18 percent at Rs 14,460.45 crore in the September 2024 quarter against Rs 12,267.15 crore on-year.
The total income of the company increased to Rs 14,565.30 crore in the reporting period from Rs 12,331.20 crore a year ago, while the total expenses of the company increased to Rs 14,163.43 crore from Rs 12,439.45 crore in the same period a year ago.
The revenue from operations of the company was up 18 percent at Rs 14,460.45 crore in the September 2024 quarter against Rs 12,267.15 crore on-year.
The total income of the company increased to Rs 14,565.30 crore in the reporting period from Rs 12,331.20 crore a year ago, while the total expenses of the company increased to Rs 14,163.43 crore from Rs 12,439.45 crore in the same period a year ago.

Reliance Industries-owned Jio Financial Services Ltd on October 18 reported 3% rise in net profit at Rs 689 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024.
