Beloved,
Okitipupa Ministers and Leaders' Summit (OMLS) and Okitipupa Singles and Married Summit (OSMS) are loading!
It will be a two-in-one Summit this year.
The Okitipupa Ministers and Leaders Summit (OMLS) will run from the evening of Thursday, the 7th till the afternoon of Friday 8th of November 2024. Theme: THE IDEAL SERVANT OF GOD.
The Bible says:
“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.” Isaiah 42:1 (KJV)
The word behold could also mean see or look at. God’s servant is not that hidden, obscure, or difficult to see or know; he is beholdable and examinable. Isaiah 42:2-4 sets forth the details of an ideal (standard, model, perfect) servant of God. You are likely not an ideal servant of God if you cannot see yourself in Isaiah 42:2-4!
Being an ideal servant of God goes beyond having a call, the power to dream, seeing visions, performing miracles, and praying for people with results (Jer. 23:30-32). While these are necessary and widely celebrated among men, none makes one an ideal servant of God.
Different men are coming up with the pictures and metrics they believe make an ideal servant of God. While this is commendable, it is still wise to listen and allow God to show us who His servant is.

On the other hand, the Okitipupa Singles and Married Summit (OSMS) will run from the evening of Friday, the 8th till the evening of Saturday 9th of November 2024. Theme: LIVING HAPPILY IN MARRIAGE.
The Bible says:
“I Nebuchadnezzar was at REST IN MINE HOUSE, and FLOURISHING IN MY PALACE:” Daniel 4:4 (KJV) [Emphasis added]
Thinking that money, sex, children, power, influence, affluence, clothes, cars, good jobs, and good houses are sources of peace, rest, happiness, and joy in marriage falls flat in the face of the above statement by Nebuchadnezzar (a gentile king)!
Isaac was also caught sporting (playing) openly with his wife when their marriage had run into many years without producing any child.
Not this alone, but with the myriad of problems, such as the wells his father left for him being stopped by the host communities, a threat to his life, the fear of losing Rebekah to the people, famine, constant movement from place to place because of the hostility from the people, it is strange that Isaac and Rebekah could still prove that a marriage can have joy without children, great harvest, wells, and gaining acceptance from others! (Gen. 26:8,9,12).
The happiness expressed by Isaac and Rebekah became a precursor to their protection, great harvest, and prosperity (Gen. 26: 10-12). Have you found an excuse in the country’s economic situation not to experience happiness in your marriage?
Nebuchadnezzar linked his flourishing palace (kingdom and domain) to the rest (peace, happiness, and joy) he had at home (his marriage), and not the money in his pocket or the power in his hand.
What is loud out there, especially on social media, is the deception of linking happiness, peace, rest, and joy in marriage to money, children, sex, power, influence, affluence, clothes, cars, good jobs, and good houses. Sadly, people with all these things still commit suicide, divorce each other, and openly display dissatisfaction and sadness!
Consequently, it means marrying a man/woman with money, power, influence, affluence, clothes, cars, a nice job, and a good house; or who has access to them or is prone to having them, does not guarantee happiness or joy in marriage.
What then guarantees happiness?
