IBS November 24 paper was tough as we all know. I have taken inputs from several students to get tips for better preparing this paper for the upcoming exams
Sharing those tips plus request you to add any more tips you have for students of May 25
1. Paper was very lenthy n tough but students who could use ICAI modules properly could do a little better
2. FR related questions were pretty simple and do able
3. FR questions also included related to disclosures for which students who were carrying brahmastra or ICAI study material found themselves lucky but those carrying summary notes had trouble
4. Audit questions again were not very tough
5. Students who had should carry ICAI modules and they should also know what is where in ICAI modules as they are questions asked which are given in test your understanding part of Modules plus sudden theory topics which are again only there in ICAI modules
6. Question relating to direct tax were particularly tough
7. Questions relating to law involved interpretation. And Questions relating to Costing were doable
8. Indexes prepared over and half much use of the past case studies passed by the institute and even of the books used in the classes accepted except in few cases.
9. Students appearing for second group only should try to not deeply revise the subjects of FR or Audit and AFM rather just review what they studied earlier plus what is mentioned where in ICAI modules, if this exam is to be taken as a base.
10. One should allot specific number of days for preparing the subject not by doing anything additional in terms of preparation of the 5 subjects already studied or law or costing but reviewing thoroughly a. this current paper and the past sample papers b. ICAI modules

How to get confidence for exams?
For your remaining 10 days to exam,
TODAY plan such that you need to spend ZERO minutes in planning till your exams are over.
Try to make a clear schedule of what to be studied when till your exam starts and across all days of exams
How will this benefit?
1. No more thinking for planning studies
2. More time to act and prepare.
3. You exactly know what to do after getting up from sleep, when to rest, when to eat, when to sleep and rest all time for your studies
4. You will be sure on your 1.5 days before exams strategy
