Seems dismal earnings may haunt Indian markets & as Monday night new POTUS TRUMP if unveils any big spending plan  then Indian market may be ruined further.

Because till now in Jan'25 FPIs sold 43K where as MFs bought 47K Cr but still mkt 1.5% down clears as other DIIs & promoters seems continuing their selling in market else it would have been 1%+ like in 2024 too these guys sold in mkt along with FPIs as FPIs alone sold 3lakh Cr where as MFs bought 5.2 lakh Cr but still mkt ended 8%+ only even though MFs spent extra 2.2 Lakh Cr than FPIs clear as Promoters & other DIIs selling.

Murmurs in mkt as some fanclubs claim is on budget day they may buy due to dismal budget and ensure market rally on that day so that easy to fool people as that budget is great budget🤷🏻‍♂️😀🤦🏻‍♂️.

But Q is on 29thJan'25 if FED hints no cuts then FIIs double down their selling & will these DIIs along with MFs can save market 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Need to see how far they suceed if FED outcome is no cuts in 2025

If budget fails to please mkts then mkts end in losses in 2025 be worst than 2015 if not double the 2015 losses.

Because now in 2025 as Oil is 40% higher & INR fallen 40%+ from 63 to 86.6  but fuel prices in India still 100% higher compare 2015 in 2025.

So it would be double whammy if Oil rise further & clears how hapless the Indian so called self proclaimed destroying policies India in just 10yrs

*ITC demerger w.e.f 6th Jan 2025 which mean one has to have ITC ltd shares in the Demat a/c as on 3rd Jan 2025 for availing Demerger benefit*

Demerger ratio is 1 : 10
1 share of ITC hotels Ltd for every 10 share of ITC ltd.
So on 6th Jan 2925  ITC ltd share price will correct by avg book value per share ie approx Rs 37.50 to Rs 38 ...

CMP of ITC is 478.60 Rs..

ITC hotels Ltd will get listed later on  a separate date ..but iTC hotels ltd shares will have ro be credited in the Demat a/c which may take nearly a weeks time.

ITC hotels ltd will have ro go through the regulatory compliance frame work before getting listed on the exchange and this maybtake some time.
ITC hotels ltd can have 100% FDI through the automatic route so it's a good sign for ITC hotels ltd.

The market price of ITC hotels ltd on listing can be in the range of 114 to 120 based on valuations and the hotel sector median PE of 38. So accordingly the EPS of ITC hotels ltd will work out to 3 per share.

Citing peace deal its fallen 3%+ from 2688 to 2605.

But no confirmation by neither party till now as neither Israel nor Lebanon.

One should be aware as till now Israel didn't uttered a word on ceasfire deal except yesterday it said as it will consider in today's cabinet meeting.

But till now no news on that.

May be in another 3 hours as by then 8pm in Israel else mkt players assume there may not be any deal and uptrend resumes again like last week Ukraine resume fresh firing on Russia.

Now too any fresh firings by Israel on Lebanon makes bulls  roar moar to hit 2680.

So short sellers shpuld be cautious until Isreal say OKAY to deal.

Who knows weekend IRAN may fire some missles or it may make Lebanon to fire citing Israel wants war 🤷🏻‍♂️😢

FED'S POWELL: THE DEBT PATH IS NOT SUSTAINABLE; WE NEED TO ADDRESS THAT SOONER THAN LATER

This one line from Powell keep Bullion Bulls alive to hit fresh LTHs by Feb'25/Apr'2025.

But can't expect sharp rise as twist to tale he said as FED not in hurry to cut rates.

Because Trump & co are   thinking as completely remove debt ceiling (so as unlimited rising of debt irrespective of Debt to GDP ratio) if not rise debt ceiling to roof so as can rise debt beyond CBO targets.

If that happens then rating agencies downgrade US debt and that may ruin badly dollar (But due to dollar hegemony in global trade the fall may not be severe unlike other nations currency collapses if Rating Agencies Downgrades their Debt) which default attract funds flow in to Gold.

Add on in today's speech he cleared for Oct'24 PCE be 2.3% and core PCE be 2.8% citing now on US labor mkt cooled to a point where it is no longer significant inflation pressures with this now month end PCE data outcome be dud event and coming days US employment data NFP   too may be irrivalent due to above statement of FED chair Powell.

In 2015 the same guys who slashed weightage of Fuel & Food by 440bps as Food & Beverages from 47.5 to 45.8 as 170bps  & fuel&light from 9.5 to 6.8 as 270bps

They did that time as food prices and Oil prices caused high inflation made the then govt to face the peoples wrath.

So to showcase all well reduced weighatge by 440bps of both and made Inflation to sub 4% and made RBI to slash rates. Later GST killed inflation for another 3yrs & If the same old weightage was there then when Oil went to $80s then India inflation would have been 8%+ than 5%.

Even today too if counts both weightages same as prior to 2013 then Inflation be 9%+.

These many days food & beverages are down so they enjoyed the benefit of it & now slight rise in it making them sleepless so started again crying like stone era viallge widow/widowers.

If they allowed RBI free hand in 2022 then RBI would have raised rates to 7.5%+ so as now Inflation would have been sub 4% than sub 6% as that time entire globe CBs raised rates from 200bps to 400bps unlike in India RBI raised only 25bps in last 2+yrs (Sept'22 to Oct'2024) caused this high inflation

These guys should also know that their own mentor ABVP tenure 1999 to 2004 India's RBI REPO rate was avg 10%+ and throughout 2000 it was in range 9% to 16% & by end 2003 too it was 7%+ but still Indian economy grown 6%+ and EQUITY MARKETS rose 3x to 5x

Instead crying shamelessly in public he should ask his MoF& PMO to make policies so that inflation falls and default RBI can reduce rates instead crying like stone era village widows/widowers to pass blame on others to hide their inefficiency in running economy.🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️.

If markets believes in P/E multiples as now these P/Es clears as NIFTY is around 23600(as FY25(earnings is 1059 so 1059×22.3=23615).

Past 6months pink media made so much noise as NIFTY earnings hit 1200 to 1250 by end FY26(Mar'2025) as 18%+ so target 28000/29000 etc as 1200x23=27600 &/1250×23=28750.

But past two qtrs as Q1 & Q2'25 hardly came in around 5% Vs pink media excel calc 18%.

Now to justify that 5% earnings natural mkts sinking towards historical mean P/E multiples as 19/20 which in turn be 21100/22200 (1112×19=21128 or 1112x20=22240 as 5% growth of 1059 is 1112 Vs 1250 which is 18% of 1059).

May be at these 19/20 levels global investors again pour money in India.

Because most of EU and other DMs mkts still cheaper as their P/Es sub 15s/16s Vs India's sub 22s or Americas sub 27s and as EM India deserve its P/Es premium to be sub 19s/20s Vs DMs 16s/17s.

By chance if Indian corps in NIFTY fail to register EPS growth then NIFTY earnings growth falls below 5% then history may repeat like 2010 to 2014 or 2015 to 2017.

Somehow in 2017 that DEMON& GST hopes made it to revive &now there is no such hope as India needed to innovate new policy to fuel mkts as its tax collections dwindling as preGST era default tax growth was 14% to 16% and now hardly touching 14% and past few months its hardly 10%+.

So now India needed stark policy shift to revive corps earnings growth.

USA markets now in hope trade at 27 and in Jan'25 earnings disappoints then they too fall same way as how Indian markets fallen in last 1month citing high valuation with low earnings growth.

One hope for USA is its fiscal pathbreaching capability unlike India which can't breach its fiscal path.

So in Jan'25 if POTUS fails to act on fiscal spending then the fall in US markets be severed than India.

Ofcourse POTUS verbal intervention in mkts makes slow fall than rapid fall and mkts may ignore his verbal interventions only in May'25 as by then even USA corps earnings growth fall sharply as with in weeks erases 10% to 15%.🤷🏻‍♂️😢

What I used to say one fine morning pent up demand over and Autos again to square one and bleeding should be more in it than in any sector as lije Dec'17 was peak and now 2024 is peak.

Now industry leader he himself saying as pent up demand ovet and next FEW YEARS the growth be 3% to 4% that clears where India heading under so called self proclaimed visionary.

Because every year there around 1Cr youth in to job mkt and in that 60lakh + graduates.

If atleast 50% of those guys gets employment then the growth in Auto would have been high teens than low single digits.

Irony is he also clearly says as not sure when the demand rises clears how gloom the future of Auto in India.

Best option in upcoming state elections the parties in India should announce as scooty/bike to all youth in those states like recent Haryana elections the visioanry announced free scooty to all college girls same did in 2022 in UP elections as bike for all college youth.

May be that type headlines can make hopeful of auto growth🤷🏻‍♂️😀

Because even @ 0.3% too annual it be 3.6% so FED hapless & keep its FFR at 4.85%+ for rest of 2024& unless any dramatic fall to 0.1% FED dont slash its FFR below 3.75% by Dec'25 unlike markets dreamed as 3% to 2.5% by end of 2025.

The headline number looks too much fancy as 18K+ Cr Vs market consensus 16K+ Cr Vs 14K Cr of Q2FY24 .

But still SBIN fallen 3%+ today post results and recovered 1.5% & now at 1.5% down@240s.

Even its able to showcase NPAs reduction but same time  provisions jump 100% made to ignore NPA numbers.

Now need to see in concall how much they say about write offs in last 90days.

Actually markets priced in upto 70K Cr profit for FY25 and this 18K Cr too now for H1FY25 its 35K Cr only.

So next 2 Qs it should make profit of another 35K Cr to justify its price at 940/980 Vs 845 today.

Because they all counted it as it makes profit 70K Cr by in FY'25(Mar'2025) and made to buy the stock for 980/1040 by most brokers when it was sub 880.

So one should be cautious of  the PINK MEDIA coins BEAT when corps announce their earnings results.

For Ex today every pink media claim its BEAT but reality is its inline with estimates which already priced in market.

This ELCID stock became richest stock in Indian market as it trades at 330K+ per share

Earlier it was MRF which used to be richest stock as 151K+ & now its around 118K per share.

This Elcid shown as NBFC but its major source of Income is dividends and bonus from Asian Paints. It holds 3% of Asian Paints shares.

That way mkts assumed Asian paints mkt cap is 270K Cr so 3% roughly around8.5K Cr & dividends & nbonus etc together its networth be around 11K Cr.

Now @ 330K too its market cap only 6.3K Cr Vs its networth 11K Cr. More over it has total shares only 200K and in that again promoters hold 150K shares& only 50K shares in free float.So LONG TERM rich class investors chasing this stock assuming its value at current holding of Asian paints be worth of 585K per share.

Even if assume Asian paints fall 20%/30% or no much growth in Asian paints too this stock networth still be 8K Cr Vs 11K Cr compare to current mkt cap6.3K Cr🤷🏻‍♂️😀Falling 20% in Asian paints okay but 30% fall in it less chance so investors chasing it🤷🏻‍♂️

Its all happend as recently SEBI mandated exchanges all illiquid stocks in mkts(as no sellers & only buyers in mkt) should be made for auctioning in open market for price discovery made this stock from just 3.3(0.00003K) to 236K on 28th Oct'24 and now @ 330K.

Because of illiquid it was at 3.3 for past 11+yrs so its book value itself rose to 500K made nobody to sell it unlike nowadays most stock stocks default trade 6x/15x of book value.😀

Need to see now what excuse marekts can say to this dismal revenue growth.

Past 1yr they used to bluff as the fall is just transitory & high base.

Because now this 2Q'25 default become low base for 2Q'26(in Oct'25) so still they may say as this fall too transitory & rise by next year.

Need to see now in Jan'25(3Q'25) earnings disappoint then too they may say as high base effect even though 3Q'24 too was mere single digit growth.

May be in New India even high single digit growth too became high base unlike high teens growth 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
