SAMER's TRT project is finally here!✨

In order to ensure the sustainably of the association's work in delivering its message and enhancing research education within medical students communities, we are pleased to present the Training Research Trainers project in its second edition !!

Training research  trainers ( TRT) is a project organized by SAMER's projects office aiming to establish a structured and sustainable pool of research trainers who are equipped with both technical knowledge and essential soft skills needed to conduct this knowledge, through a well-structured framework, ensuring the sustainable delivery of high-quality training programs.
This comes now as we are confident  that many of you are great candidates for the title " SAMER Research Trainer " and we do believe the title will go for no one but those who are worthy.

With our great delight, we open this opportunity for those who are interested in taking the leading role in mobilization the research communities, by joining our  project, and hence qualifying for SAMER research trainer title!✨

تدريب مدربي البحوث هو مشروع ينظمه مكتب مشاريع سامر بهدف إنشاء مجموعة مستدامة من مدربي البحوث الذين يمتلكون المعرفة والمهارات الأساسية اللازمة لنقل هذه المعرفة، مما يضمن تقديم برامج تدريبية عالية الجودة بصورة مستدامة.

تأتي هذه البادرة في هذا التوقيت على وجه التحديد ونحن على أتم الثقة بأن الجمعية تمتلك قاعدة طلابية بمواصفات وكفاءات تجعل منهم نواة مثالية لصناعة مدربي أبحاث (سامر)، ونحن نؤمن أن هذا اللقب سيكون فقط من نصيب من هم أهل لحمل هذه الرسالة.

SAMER is forming a working group focused on enhancing research capabilities among medical students. We invite motivated medical students to apply for the How to Research Toolkit SWG. This group aims to equip future medical professionals with essential research skills. Successful applicants will participate in a comprehensive capacity-building workshop.

🔷Available Positions:
Coordinator: Oversees daily operations and strategic planning.

Vice Coordinator: Supports the Coordinator and manages activities in their absence.

Members: Participate in designing and developing research tools, generating scientific content, and identifying student needs.

♦️Group Objectives:
Enhance research skills among medical students.

Facilitate access to research opportunities and funding.

Develop strong written and oral communication skills within research contexts.

Create an innovative "How to Research" toolkit for the medical student community.

🔷Member Responsibilities:
Actively design and develop research tools for the toolkit.

Identify challenges faced by medical students in research.

Contribute to high-quality scientific content for the toolkit.

Review and improve existing research tools.

Dear SAMER Community,

We invite you to participate in the "Hidden Side of War" project, which will respond to the armed conflict in Sudan since April 15, 2023. The project aims to study the impact of the conflict on medical education and the mental health of students, as this war affects all aspects of life, especially the health and education systems.

▎▎Objectives:
1. Enhance research skills.
2. Study students' psychological resilience and coping mechanisms.
3. To Assess the impact of the ongoing armed conflict on
the medical education
4.To study the empathy communication skills of medical fresh graduates.
5. To foster collaboration and feedback between the participants.

▎▎Why Participate?
- Make a Difference: Contribute to research that influences policies.
- Skill Development: Engage in an environment that fosters professional growth.

▎▎Selection Criteria:
Applications will be evaluated based on:
- Knowledge test
- Skills assessment
- CV
- Motivation

ندعوكم للمشاركة في مشروع "الأثر الخفي للحرب"، الذي يستجيب للصراع المسلح في السودان منذ 15 أبريل 2023. يهدف المشروع إلى دراسة تأثير النزاع على التعليم الطبي والصحة النفسية للطلاب، حيث أن هذه الحرب تؤثر على جميع جوانب الحياة، وخاصةً على نظام الصحة والتعليم.

2. دراسة مرونة الطلاب النفسية وتقبلهم للضغوط.
3.تقييم تأثير الصراع المسلح المستمر على التعليم الطبي.

At SAMER, we're committed to empowering our members to drive impactful research and medical education. External Projects are a key part of this mission, allowing you to bring your ideas to life!

🔺What are External Projects?
External Projects are initiatives proposed by our members, focusing on advancing research and medical education. These projects are implemented by SAMER's Projects Office, leveraging our expertise and resources.

🔷Key Information:
-Open to All: Any member can submit a project proposal.
-Regular Opportunities: The call for External Projects will be open at least once per term.
- Rigorous Review: Projects undergo review by a dedicated committee.
- Feedback and Endorsement: Proposals receive constructive feedback, and those meeting our criteria are endorsed and implemented by SAMER.
- Project Coordination: Proposers have the option to lead their endorsed project as the coordinator.

🔻 لماذا يجب أن تشارك فيها؟
