Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

“Among the deeds that lead to the love of Allah—and they are the greatest signs of those who love Him—is the frequent remembrance of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, with both the heart and the tongue.”

The Best Deed to Leave this World With

It was narrated by 'Abdullah bin Busr Al-Mazini (may Allah be pleased with him), that Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The best deed is that you leave this world while your tongue is moist with the remembrance of Allah."

📚 As-Silsilah As-Sahihah (1836).

The Prophet ﷺ said:

‎"Whoever’s last words are: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ | La ilaha illa Allah | (there is none worthy of worship but Allah) will enter Jannah."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“For me to say:

• SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah),
• Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah),
• La ilaha illa Allah (There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah), and
• Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)

is more beloved to me than everything over which the sun rises.”

‏قال رسول الله ﷺ:
‏«لَأَنْ أَقُولَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ».
